I laughed as I watched Hinata try to shake Tsukishima's hand who looked absolutely disgusted calling Hinata an “idiot” and Yamaguchi apologized that that had happened to tsukishima when Hinata finally managed to shake tsukishima hand.
I watch Sawamura walked over and asked what seem to be a question for tsukishima who answered but I wasn’t able to hear them from where I stood but I watched Sawamura hand him his sweatshirt.
“captain” Hinata yelled as he and my brother handed their application in. he took them and yelled where Kiyoko and I were packing and cleaning up the water bottles.
“Kiyoko they should already be here right” she nodded and went to grad whatever Sawamura was talking about as I finished the water bottle while she was gone. When she returned it was with a box full of uniforms she handed them out including one to me.
“I’m fairly sure I got the right sizes for you Let me know if they don’t fit or you need replacements.”
“Thanks!” that were trying to get tsukishima to try his own. They succeeded after harassing him with a chant. Soon we were in a line.
“on behalf of the karasuno volleyball club welcome to the team”
“thanks” I watched Tanaka try to get my brother and Hinata to strike a pose they all did except tsukishima even Yamaguchi was trying. Tobio was going to get Hinata to practice more but the club advisor Takeda was panting at the door saying we had a practice match against Aoba johsai, one of the top four schools in the prefecture.
He then noticed the new player and introduced himself to Suga and Sawamura asked him about the supposed game and how he got them to say yes “wait did you beg again did you?” “no I’m good at begging but I didn't do that this time” “huh” I was confused was that a normal thing.
“But they had a condition Kageyama must play setter the entire game..” Tanaka argued saying that Suga was the starting setting and how there not interests in them but Kageyama. Suga assured Tanaka.
“well, it a chance for us to see how well Kageyama and Hinata measure up with a strong school." “Are you sure Suga?” I asked he ruffled my hair saying “yep.”
“Okay, then what are the details?” Sawamura asked.
“well, it a tight schedule but it's for next Tuesday there only time for one game cause it's after school, we are talking a bus after school so don’t be late “right."
After practice
After practice, Tobio caught up with Suga me not too far behind him.
“I know it's not fair but I’ll work hard to earn the spot” “what oh sorry I’m surprised that you thought about how I felt” my brother tilted his head and said “Don’t follow”
“you have more raw talent and stamina than me.”
“that's great and all but that's not the same as experience and besides well the rest of the team trusts you.” some calls caught my attention so I turned around and waved at Sawamura and Tanaka as well as Hinata who had his bike.
“so I won’t lose” “yeah I’ll do my best too”
“hey Suga Daichi said he’s going to treat us to some food,” Tanaka said once they reached us
when Sawamura went into the store suga asked “so I was thinking a lot of people from Kitagawa first end of going to Aoba johsai right”
“yeah as far as I know” my brother confirmed it.
