Introducing Nevaeh💙

AMBRE

Nelson sat at the other end of my desk holding a sketch pad in his hands. "Okay so, how about we get a babysitter for Aimee and the twins? and then Anais can come with us?" I looked up to see if he was being serious. He avoided my gaze. "Well, why do we have to take Anais? It's a business trip I'm sure we will be back in a few days. Anais can stay and watch Aimee and the rest." An angry look flashed over his face but he hid it quickly. Sheesh, what was his problem? I didn't have much time to dwell on it because Desiree walked quickly into my office.

"Hey! I made the call. They will be here soon. Will I be accompanying you on this trip? If not then I have to gather all of your paperwork's and we have to make a quick presentation sheet so that you have something to go off of when you get there." Desiree walked over to my desk while explaining her thinking. "Well Desiree you're my assistant so you have to come I can't do this on my own! Don't worry about packing anything. I can buy you a new wardrobe." Desiree smiled brightly and nodded.

EZRA

Time-lapse: 10 minutes

It's a good thing I don't live too far away from work. "Dude, you work here?" Neveah gushed up at the building. " It's so fancy and colorful. I came here once and I couldn't believe how pricey everything was. Like why is a piece of paper with Paint on it 150 dollars?!" I chuckled at Nevaeh's outburst. A young hippie couple turned to find out where the loud outburst came from. An annoying look crossed their faces. Nevaeh was oblivious to their attitude. "Come on Nevaeh." Nevaeh went to grab her luggage. "Wait first. I don't want to take the bags up and then have to bring them back down."

Nevaeh nodded and followed behind me. "Hey, Ezra! And who is this fine lady? Your girlfriend? I felt heat travel to my face as Anaya the pretty receptionist teased me right as we stepped into the reception area. Nevaeh snorted next to me. I grabbed her arm and raced for the elevator. Aanya's laugh bounced off the walls.

AMBRE

I heard a faint knock at the door followed by a low voice hissing and then a louder, broader knock. Nelson went to get the door before I could say anything. At the door stood. Ezra in shaggy sweats accompanied by a girl. My chest immediately burned at her beauty. I was too late. How stupid could I be? I dallied around for so long, he had moved on. Her hair was like a silky dark curtain. The blue streaks at the bottom of her hair indicated to me that she was interesting, intriguing. There was no way Ezra was thinking of me. The girl smiled brightly at us. "Hey y'all!" Ezra smiled at her boisterous energy. I took a deep breath. "Hey Ezra! And this is?" I asked sweetly. I needed to know who this was, it was eating at me. Ezra flicked the girls hair over her shoulder she giggled. "My name is Nevaeh Kahele!" Her voice was loud and sweet.

"It's very good to meet you Nevaeh! Welcome to Amber DuPont Enterprises! I am Ambre and you are always welcome here" I made sure to be kind to her. She made Ezra smile. I pulled my attention away when my phone began to ring. I Notice Nelson sneak away. What the hell? Mr. DeRose was on the call. "Mon Cheri! The jet is almost there Nelson knows the where you can board. Ask him to drive you.  Bye Bye Mon Cheri!" The line clicked off.

"Okay guys the jet is almost there so we are going to go there in Nelson's car he knows where to go." Ezra nods and turns to Nevaeh. I go in search of Nelson. I'm about to turn a corner when I hear his hushed voice."Don't worry it will all work out. Everything will be alright. I will know what to do. You just listen. I love you." What? His mom? A sibling? He ended the call and looked around. He began to walk towards my direction. Shit. I clicked my heels on the ground as if I was walking towards him. He turned around abruptly and hastily and began to walk towards the other direction.

I followed after him. "Nelson! We have to go to where the Jet is landing. Its almost here." He nodded and rubbed the back of his neck. He looked slightly distant. This was my chance. I had to be subtle with it. " So who was that on your phone? Your Mom? Is she okay?" Nelson did a small double take before answering my questions. Yea that was my mom. She uh- she has cancer and so she has to go to the doctors very often and it just frightens her. She calls me to calm her down. I couldn't believe my ears. What a sweet heart. "Nelson that is the sweetest thing ever. I really like that she confides in you that way. Anyways come on time is flying." He smiles his crooked smile and grabs my hand.

I don't know why but my heart flutters a little.

EZRA

Time-lapse: 15 Minutes

We were situated in the car when Nevaeh asked if Ambre and Nelson were dating. It hurt my heart to see Ambre answer with a happy smile and a joyful Yes. "You and Ezra are dating as well?" Ambre asked looking back and forth between us. I felt my face get hot. Damn I could only imagine the shade of my face right now. I felt a little more at ease when Nevaeh burst out laughing. Ambre's eyes widened. "We aren't together! If anything Ezra is my savior, my hero. But not my lover. It's only been a small amount of time since we have been friends. He is so sweet and lovable. Quite selfless too." I rolled my eyes at Nevaeh's teasing.

Ambre looked taken aback for a bit after hearing what Nevaeh told her. She opened her mouth to say something but was cutoff when Nelson announces that we have arrived at the jets landing location. We were right on time. Because in the distance we could see a bright red jet plane flying low to the ground.

It began to land as we all stepped out of Nelson's car and went for our belongings in the back of the car. Nelson step toward Ambre and pulled her into a deep kiss. I tried to ignore the fact that he was squeezing and massaging her ass. I felt myself begin to frown. I looked up to see Nevaeh looking at me quizzically. I went over to her and muttered quietly." I'll explain it to you later." She nodded.

I'm in Vacation in Africa and I barely have WiFi so it's hard for me to update like I use to so this story is in a temporary pause. However I will update when ever I can.
