Innoak was a warrior, he may have been trained in the arts of the Librarius since he was an initiate but he was still a Space Marine. Space Marines are warriors born of the science of a god, they were built and bred for a single purpose. To fight and die in the Emperor's name. So as Innoak smashed through the horde he felt himself get detached from the fight, his body moved with little input from him and the warp powers he summoned began to take on a far more brutal form. Innoak spewed forth massive bursts of lightning and gouts of fire, he used the obscurus discipline to its fullest. He made the soldiers trying to fight him hallucinate the most horrible things their own psyche could conjure. Several of them fell by their own weapons, unwilling to stay in their twisted reality. Innoak did not let up even as clouds of lasers fell against his bulwark of psychic power, he did not let up even as he felt blood splash against his holy armor in ever increasing buckets. Blood clouded his vision, both figuratively and literally. But Innoak's blood was up, and he still needed to buy time for Adora to extract. So he could not stop fighting even as a shipping crate full of protein gruel smashed into him at terminal velocity.

Catra stared smugly at her handiwork, but the smirk faded as she looked around at the devastation her enemy had wrought. Blood coated everything, and of the dozens who had entered with her only a meagre four stood with her. Luckily Kyle and Lonnie were there, Rogelio lay covered in blood in a corner with a medkit cracked open next to him and Kyle and the last Horde soldier beside the big lizard. Catra looked around again, wounded and dead lay together in piles. Cracked armor plating covered the ground alongside limbs and discarded batons. She finally looked back at the shipping crate that now imprisoned her enemy, Catra sighed deeply and touched her badge. "I need a bunch of chains and a tank down to the left side garage. Now."

Entrapta and Innoak were gone. Adora reflected on what she could on the skiff ride back to the Whispering Woods. Innaok died a death he would have really wanted, holding back a tide of the enemy as his team escaped. Entrapta died trying to save a friend, one Adora didn't understand, but a friend nonetheless. The Princess Alliance was over, and she could tell it in everyone's eyes. They had got Glimmer back but at the cost of a Princess and an extremely powerful warrior. Adora chuckled, she would have to keep training everyday by herself. In honor of her mentor. "What is it Adora?" Glimmer asked from beside her, she was tired but forced the words out anyway. "Nothing Glimmer, just remembering when we forced Innoak to choose our dresses for the prom." Glimmer smiled weakly. "Yeah, I think he hated that. He even shoved the General in there to take his place for a second." Adora smiled again, and was about to say something else when Mermista spoke from her location at the side of the vehicle. "Remember when I first met you guys? The first thing I said was 'Ew, who let him in here?'' Seahawk laughed from beside her, "My charms are impossible to resist if I do say so myself." Almost immediately everyone said in unison, "You do!" Adora smiled and proposed another story, "You guys remember when I tackled Catra at the Princess Prom?" Bow raised an eyebrow, "You did what?" and Adora nodded vigorously "I tackled Catra, and I'm proud of it." Bow shook his head, "I got knocked out for a second and you already got in trouble." The group chuckled together, and suddenly Adora was struck by inspiration. It was almost as if Innoak was speaking directly into her head, guiding her even from death. "They are fractured, bring them back together, Adora."
