I made it to Master Lin's office and looked around not seeing him.

"Lin?" I called out.

"Here." He said as he came out from behind one of his many artifacts.

You can say all you want about my clutter but Lin's clutter was way worse. All these bullshit artifacts weren't worth anything to people who weren't murderers. In fact, they weren't even worth anything in the eyes of the students. Nonetheless, Lin insisted on keeping them every time I brought it up.

He snapped me out of my trance when he sat down on his chair and began inspecting one of his mini knives.

"Do you know where Marcus is?" I asked.

"It appears he left. I think some of his peers may be out looking for him, but I'm not sure where he is." Lin said.

"Well what gives you the idea that someone went looking for him?" I asked.

"Willie, his new partner in one of his classes, left a bit after him. I saw him get in his car and drive off. Why so many questions about Marcus?" He asked.

"Oh, no reason. He's just the new kid and he already got into a fight. I feel bad for him." I acted sympathetic.

"Oh I know what this is about." Lin said as he leaned forward in his chair and put down the mini knife he was twirling around.

"You do?" I asked as my sympathetic expression dropped and was taken over by a look of worry.

I couldn't let him know. I couldn't let him know that I was going to break the rules and kill a student. It would be the end of my time here and I couldn't leave. King's Dominion wasn't just some stupid school to me, it was my home. It's been my home since I was ten.

"You like Marcus." Lin said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Oh, yeah. Shoot! You caught me." I said as I looked relieved and played off a fake laugh.

If that's what Lin's best guess was then I was determined to keep it that way. Him thinking I liked Marcus was better than him knowing I was going to kill him. I mean, yeah, I thought Marcus was cute at the beginning, but he murdered my brother. There's no way I'd ever go near him again unless it was to hurt him.

"Well I'm gonna go look for him. I'll see you in class tomorrow, Lin." I said as I started walking out of his office.

If Willie was after Marcus, all I had to do was find Willie. It was going to be a piece of cake to find that dumbass. As gangster as his act was, he was fucking stupid when it came to the actual deadly arts. Honestly, rule #1 don't get caught and stay hidden. Lucky for me, he sucked at rule #1 and just about everyone knew what car that motherfucker rode in. Find the car, find Marcus. Easy enough, right?

I exited school and walked down the sidewalk. Rumors went around King's quick, and rumor was that Marcus always went to the clock tower after leaving King's. I made my way towards the infamous tower keeping my eyes peeled for the brown haired boy. I had no doubt in my mind that he'd be here again. After a couple minutes of being on autopilot looking for that psychotic motherfucker I saw Willie's car with Marcus standing outside of it. Bingo! He seemed to be talking to Willie through the rolled down window.

Okay, now how do I get in that car and kill Marcus? How was I supposed to sneak up on him with that wannabe hood gangster in the way? Then I spotted it.

That dumbass left his trunk open a couple inches. I couldn't slip into it without opening it a bit more, but I bet if they got distracted enough I could be in within no time.

Suddenly Marcus opened the door and got into Willie's car. Shit! I couldn't let him get away. The car soon started driving and making turns. Me being the absolute stubborn bitch I am, I ran after it as far as my legs could take me.
