After walking the crowded halls we finally made it to class a couple minutes late. We walked straight into Willie explaining how he killed Rory.
Fuck, I didn't even complete that assignment. I planned on killing Marcus before, but since we became... a situationship you could call it, I've been too caught up with him to even remember school.
We took seats next to each other before Willie continued his story.
"So I found this haggard-ass homeless lady who told me about this dude. Full hardcore. He was collecting memorabilia, like we learned about in class. So I waited for him, crept up on him." Willie explained.
I let out a tiny smile hiding it with my hand. Jesus, this was all a bunch of bullshit and all these assholes believed it. Honestly it was quite funny to me. I looked over to Marcus beside me to see what he was thinking about all the absolute shit coming out of Willie's mouth. He seemed annoyed, displeased, overall fucking livid. He brought his hand up to his face making a fist with it. He held on so tight that it made his knuckles turn white. What the fuck is wrong with him? I looked back at Willie, paying attention to his made up story.
"This dude, he was about to stab me with a screwdriver." He said.
Well you're not lying there, dude.
"And I found this pipe. I crushed that fool's head in. Dumpstered the body. Set it on fire. And got out of there." He finished.
And there's all the bullshit.
I looked back at Marcus. Even listening to Willie's made up shit wasn't distracting me from him. I wanted to figure out what was wrong with him desperately, so I stared down at my desk and let my mind wander.
He's been acting weird since this morning. He's especially pissed now that Willie's talking about how 'he killed Rory'. Why is he so pissed listening to his story? Was it because he wasn't getting credit? No, it couldn't be. I saw the look on Marcus's face when he crushed Rory's head in. He wanted nothing to do with the murder.
Holy shit, that's it.
He wanted nothing to do with the murder. He feels guilty.
I looked back up at Marcus. He looked almost soulless. By now Willie had sat down too. He unclenched his hand keeping his same mad expression on. Lin then walked up to the middle of the classroom.
"70% of soldiers don't pull the trigger in battle, no matter the stakes. The weak always choke in the face of killing. With fear of expulsion, all your hopes and dreams, all your family's expectations, only one of you could do it, so we'll have a new test." Lin said smacking his cane on a student's desk.
Did no one else kill anyone? Fucking pussies. I would've done it if I had the chance.
"A final chance to prove your worth. Survive and you earn a place here. Fail and you die. The weak do not belong in my school. Go. Get out of my sight." Lin dismissed us.
No one dared to utter a word. We all silently got up and left the classroom.
"Willie, stay." Lin said.
Seriously? Lin believed all the shit that asshole fed him? Un-fucking-believable. Marcus and I walked out of class silently side by side after looking at Willie for a couple seconds. Only the three of us knew and he wanted to see who would rat him out. Lucky for him us Rats aren't snitches.
We were all out in the hallway when everyone started freaking out.
"I had a guy, but I couldn't find proof." Saya said worriedly with a hand on her head.
"I hobbled a jaywalker. Was best I could find!" Viktor said angrily in his thick accent as he punched a wall.
"Burning a package for my old man." Chico said with anger lacing his voice and his head down.
