I figured on our way out that the fastest way to get out of King's without anyone seeing Scorpio Slasher with us was to go through the puzzle room. Therefore, I made the executive decision to lead us through there.

Marcus didn't ask any questions since I was the one who knew her way around, not him. Slasher on the other hand was obviously suspicious but kept his mouth shut. I think he figured if he did no talking we'd get his burrito quicker. Not to mention we put a leash and collar on that motherfucker, so he wasn't very threatening in such a situation. We only put it on him so he couldn't run away or do some other psychotic thing. Though it just looked like some kinky scene you'd see in a porno.

I really hoped that stupid puzzle room wasn't in use right now because I wasn't in the mood to solve a goddam puzzle. All I wanted to do right now was find Chester and kill the sick motherfucker.

I opened the door to the room to see Billy lying down on his skateboard. Marcus and the Slasher walked in after me and Billy lifted his head to look at us. He looked disoriented at first, but then frantic.

"Oh, wait, don't let the door shut!" Billy exclaimed as he got up quickly.

Then the door abruptly shut and locked behind us before Billy could stop it and get out.

"Oh!" Billy said loudly throwing his arms up in frustration.

"Billy, what is this?" Marcus asked.

"It's the puzzle room, dude!" Billy said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, which it wasn't to him.

Marcus looked from Billy to me in confusion.

"They randomly lock kids in, and you have to solve a riddle to get out. One of these doors is the only unguarded exit out of King's." I explained as we all looked around at the three doors surrounding us.

"Monks threw me in here this morning. I'm not doing the riddle, though." Billy refused shaking his head.

"Why?" Marcus asked as I looked down and saw a folded up sheet of paper on the floor next to Billy's skateboard.

I bent down to pick it up.

"Lions..." Billy said gesturing to one closed door.

I stood back up unfolding the sheet of paper. I saw that there was writing inside, clearly Lin's handwriting.

"Fire..." Billy continued as he gestured to the second door.

"Behind one door, scorching fire, the other, three lions starved for months, the last holds deadly assassins. Which is the path to safety?" I read what was written on the paper out loud.

"Hey, guys, did you know that you're hanging with the Scorpio Slasher?" Billy said looking towards the corner of the room seeing Slasher with a collar and leash on.

"We're getting burritos." The Slasher said blankly.

This should be fun.
