Evan's p.o.v.

I finally reached my house and saw a couple cars in the driveway. Great, my brothers friends are here. I can only stand them when I'm in the mood and obviously I'm not. Actually, from the looks of it, it looks like it's Sara, Rydel, Benny, and some other car? Sara, is Seth's girlfriend who he likes to call Angel. Rydel, is Jordan's girlfriend. She is also the sister of the Lynch boys. How they can be so cruel, but Rydelis a sweetheart is beyond me. Benny is Devon's best friend. Looks like I'm not the only one that's going to get in trouble. I opened the door and accidentally swung it into someone. "Ow!" That had to be Benny. His voice was distinct. Slightly on the higher side, I suppose for a guy, but he can drop his voice when he's angry enough.

"Sorry." I said and looked behind the door. Yup, it was Benny. "Oh hey, Benji." I said. Calling him Benji really pissed him off. I headed toward the stairs and Benny followed. He was wearing a brown and white stripped collared t-shirt, low rise blue jeans, a black belt, and black hightops. His hair was light brown and and almost feathered back. His eyes were a cruel green and brown hazel.

"It's Benny and you know it!" He growled lowly. There it was, his voice going a bit deeper.

I faced him and we glared at each other until Devon came in, breaking our staring contest. "Let me guess, first person who blinks has to kiss the others ass?" He said with a laugh as he slipped his phone into his front pocket.

"She wishes." Benny said and stood up straight, crossing his arms.

"Up yours, Benji!" I growled. I started getting angry again. The walk had calmed me down.

He sighed in frustration, "For the last time, it's Benny!" I rolled my eyes at him. I wasn't in the mood to deal with these jackasses. Definitely not after the day I had. I just want to go upstairs and sleep my life away. Is that so much to ask?

After I pushed past Benny, I only got up three steps before Devon grabbed my arm. "Why weren't you on the bus?" He asked with a hint of annoyance as per usual when he has to speak to me.

"Why don't you drive to school and take us all with you?" I retorted. See how pissed I am? That's not even the worst of it. He could drive us if he didn't keep getting his licenses taken away.

He clicked his tongue and his eyes narrowed. "Michael took away my driving privileges for now." His grip tightened. "So, where were you?"

"Nowhere!" I pulled my arm away from his grip, nearly stumbling back. "Why do you care?"

"You're right. I don't care, but I'm sure Michael can't wait to hear this story." He said with an evil smirk.

That got me even more pissed off. I've been put through hell since I woke up. The last thing I need is to be punished, or get grounded. "I realized Michael said, home straight after school, but I could have sworn he also said, no friends over, as well." I said, a bit of growl hinted in my voice and using finger quotes when I quoted Michael from earlier.

He slowly closed his eyes then opened them. I turned around and was about to go back upstairs, but Devon opened his mouth, "Fine princess, you win. We both don't tell Michael, deal?" He asked.

I turned back around to see his hand out. I shook his hand. "Deal." Devon then left with a small smirk crawling on his face. He's up to something he usually fights back until I'm crying.
