Jordan's p.o.v.
"Yeah... Okay....Bye, babe." I hung up the phone and ran downstairs. My girlfriend, Rydel is coming over along with her family for dinner. Meaning her parents want to meet my family and see if me dating their daughter is such a good idea. Rydel and I have been dating for a while now, but our families haven't met yet. Probably with good reason. We also had planned this out about a week ago. I forgot to tell Michael. I entered the kitchen to see Michael sitting at the kitchen island typing on his computer. "Michael, do you know if everyone is going to be here tonight?" I asked my oldest brother.
"I'm not sure." He answered and rose his head from the screen. "Why?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
"Because Rydel and her family are coming over." I half-ass mumbled.
"What?" Michael went wide-eyed.
"Mhmm." I nervously smiled and sheepishly rubbing the back of my neck.
"Jordan!" Michael scolded. He then sighed, "Fine. I'll call Chad and see what we can do."
"Thank you. Thank you." I hugged him from the side and then ran upstairs.

*knock, knock*
"I'll get it!" Evan yelled. Before I could protest, Evan opened the door. I stood behind her and there stood my beautiful girlfriend. She wore a black tube top with white sunflowers printed all over, leaving her stomach exposed with a light black button up hung open. She wore a black tutu with white knee-high socks and knee-high converse to go with them. Her hair was pinned up in a high ponytail and her makeup was done light like always. "Jordan, your girlfriend's here!" Evan yelled. I was quick to block my ear and before I could tell her I was there, she walked off to the other room where she previously left Drake to finish her guitar lesson.
I moved my hand and then leaned out the door, placing a kiss Rydel's lips. I pulled away and then greeted the rest of her family as they approached the door. "Hello." I waved. "Come on in." I smiled and pulled the door open more, letting them walk in. "You look great." I told Rydel quietly as her family walked a bit further into the house.
"Thank you, babe." She smiled up at me. "We just came from a photo shoot." She told me. They all dressed alike, even her parents. Her older brother was dressed in a black button-up with a white tie hung loosely, his jeans were black, and his shoes were plain and bright white converse. Her younger brother, who I think is Rocky, was dressed in a white t-shirt with a black vest. He also had black jeans on and white converse. The other younger brother with blonde hair was wearing white jeans, a plain black t-shirt, and had black and white converse on his feet. Her youngest brother wore white jeans as well, a black and white flannel and vans on his feet. Clearly they seemed to have had a black and white themed photoshoot. As for her parents, her Dad wore black shorts that fell a bit passed his knees and a plain white t-shirt. Her mother wore a puffy white dress with black printed flowers and a black jacket. I was very proud of Rydel and her career. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little jealous of her success, but nonetheless, I was still happy for her. "You look great too." She added. I was wearing my black and white hightops, white skinny jeans, and a loose black button up. I didn't do much with my hair, I just left it as is. I was a little sad the blue tips in my hair had faded, but I'll touch them up later.
"Do I? Because I felt like it's wasn't enough, but I didn't want to get formal. I had to change my shirt like five times and then I couldn't find my-"
