Blake first interaction with a demon was a short lived one. She had been traveling for over a week now and she has seen no traces of Ruby what so ever. She had been staying at other residents homes in the meantime while she travelled to look for her comrade. From the information she had gathered from the people she stayed with, Grimm doesn't exist in the part of the country. Nor did Atlas, Vale, Minstrel, or Vacuo. Hell, when she asked about Remnant as a whole, no one knew what she was talking about. Her scroll(phone) was not working for the life of her and she had no idea where she was. Like do people even know about WiFi? But that wouldn't get her down, after all she had a long way to go to find Ruby and nobody was going to stop her.
It was now late noon and the sun was setting fast on the day. As she walked along a dirt path, she thought to herself about needing to find a place to to stay or at least shelter. And with no houses in sight, she had to look for somewhere else to stay. A temple she thought to herself. She and Adam would use it for shelter whether it was rain, snow, hail, or even to just stay the night. She her mind was sent back to a time when the white fang didn't kill to get their way across. Remembering blissful memories of her and Adam when she was young. She quickly snapped herself back to reality to remember her goal. Find Ruby and find a way back home or find a way back home and hopefully find Ruby. Those were her best options. As she continued down the path she saw a mountain in the distance. There would be a temple of shrine up there. So she she set off the find one.
It finally nighttime, and Blake had found herself walking in the dark. She hadn't found a temple or shrine in time and now she was stuck walking in the dark. Well it wasn't that dark thanks to the moon above her but it was still dark. She began to
wonder if she had to sleep in a tree or make camp again. She had no problem with it obviously, she had done it multiple times at Beacon but she did like sleeping like that unless she had to. But to the young 19-year-olds luck, it was a light coming from the top of the mountain. She rushed towards it at full speed , hoping it was shrine or temple that should could rest the night. But when she had reached the shrine she had so prayed for. She was met with the scent of metal. And she knew that's scent far to well.Blood.
She rushed towards the shrine only to find a woman bloody dead body on the floor. She put her hand over mouth in shock. What happened here?! She was so confused that she hadn't notice the voice speaking to her.
"Hey, you." The voice spoke to her in minacious and menacing voice. Blake had turned around to have a look at the voice that had spoke to her only to be met with more horror. The a tall gray young man had an arm in their mouth with blood splatter on it body. In her horror she remembered what an old woman had said before she had departed on her jounary that day. "Don't go walking around at night dear. It dangerous around these parts. Stay inside, without you lights on. Those Oni will come and get you." If she had remembered correctly, Demons or Oni, a race of monstrous, immortal, supernatural, ancient and malevolent beings that kill humans. "Yes, you demon girl." Demon girl? She could feel the anger rise within her. She was no demon. If anybody was a demon it was him. She had successfully calmed herself , and if that, thing, came anywhere near her, she would kill it with her sheath.
"Excuse me." She spoke, her tone dark, cold and foreboding. The demon shivered at her voice, she had the presence of one of the 12 Kizuki. "Who were you talking too?"
"N-No one!! No one." The demon stuttered. It had no idea this woman was one of the 12 Kizuki. He was scared beyond belief. He was about bow his head in respect but found himself of the floor. He then notice that his head had been chopped clean. He looked to see the woman in front of him begin to leave as the sun rose in on the horizon.
"I will take my leave." The Blake said before leaving the demon to rot and turn to ash by the sun. The demon could only think to itself how it had just disrespected a Kizuki. He was going to die and for a stupid reason.
Blake had no idea why the demon was still alive after she cut of it's head with her sheath. It should have died. She knew the sun would kill the demon from what the old woman had told her but why not her sheath? She would have to investigate later. She needed to make it to next village in the meantime. Before departing she took the body that was found in the temple and buried it. Well she did this after the demon died so she would get caught so easily. After burying the woman, Blake found her way down the mountain faster then her way up it. She had took some supplies from the temple so she could aleast have food for a week at least. Her provisions were running low. She was a foodie at heart and that sadly didn't work in her favor most of the time but, hey she would be okay, right. What could go wrong, right?
Unknown to black in a fortress surrounded by darkness was a pale man with red eyes that had gotten a short glimpse of her and now, taken a small interest in her.
