Before the short:
The sound of clashing could be heard throughout the entirety of the infinite fortress and Muzan was fed up of the noise. All the man wanted to do was sleep, but no. He was disturbed by that...horrible racket. He was going to put an end to that noise, and knew very well where the sound was coming from. He stormed over to Uppermoon 1 chambers and was about to open the door only to find a flying object break though it. Naturally he dodge before getting hit by this mass object, soon realizing that the object was a child. About 5 year old to be precise. He knew Kokushibō had brought a young demon into the fortress but he never expected them to be this young.
The boy had been impaled with the wood from the door. But slowly and surely, stood back on his feet. Then the child looked at Muzan with his dark turquoise eyes.
"Again." Kokushibō spat out. The Upper Moon power walking towards the child. He was about to grab the child till Muzan stopped him. Muzan liked the fact that Kokushibō was training the child well, but damn was that kid busted and bruised. It almost reminded him of himself, almost.
"Little one," Muzan spoke, turning towards the child. The boy's small eyes staring at him. "You many not like the grueling training that your going through right now, but if you put up with it, suffer now instead of later. You will reap the fruits of labor and live your life as champion." The child eyes began to sparkle with a new found determination. Muzan could help but smirk at how some small talk could boost a child morale. The child then looked at Kokushibō and nodded before running back into the room, the Upper Moon following in pursuit.
"Thanks you Grandpa Muzan." The child said before running back into the room. Muzan could only stand there...
Until a tick mark appeared on his forehead. The child was lucky that it was young or else he would have seen it fit to kill it. No matter, it would soon obey his every word when the time came.
"Kokushibō," Muzan spoke with venom in his voice, cause the Upper Moon to slightly flinch. "Intensify the training." Muzan beginning to walk away, till he stopped, and turned his head to face the man again. "You know what to do?" The Upper Moon nodded showing understanding. And just like the, Muzan made his way back to his research once more.
2 Months Later...
"You've gotten better at your attacks." Comment Kokushibō to Kaigaku. The child had grown exponentially in the past 2 months. Kaigaku was not a normal child obviously, but Kokushibō always had to remind himself that he wasn't.
"Kokushibō-dono~," Spoke a tall man. "It's my turn to have the boy~." He smiled at the thought of training a small demon again. He missed training Daki and Gyutaro.
"Remember what Muzan-san said, Douma." Kokushibō replied. He was going to kill Douma if Kaigaku came back with any harsh injuries. Sure he hasn't been the kindest when it came his train, but all he wanted was the best for the boy. The boy even said it himself, he wanted to be powerful. So the training that he unleashed upon Kaigaku was for his own good. The other Upper Moons don't know how to hold back. Kokushibō could only pray that his training would allow Kaigaku to survive.
"I know I know. Don't be to harsh on the child. He's only 5 years old." Douma said cheerfully. "Come now, what's your name? Ah! Yes! Kaigaku! Come now Kaigaku! Your training awaits!" Douma then put the boy on an ice lotus and flew him to his part of the infinite fortress.
6 Months Later...
"You've done so well Kaigaku!! You finished your training with me." Douma said content with how training played out. He wouldn't admit it, but that child is a monster. Kaigaku was now 6 years old and could kill any low ranking demon slayer. It had only took him 10 months to finish Kokushibō training while he finished his training in 6 months. Damn, kid's are monsters. "Well, I have nothing else to teach you. Akaza-dono will be taking you now." And with that, Upper Moon three appeared.
"Come here squirt," Akaza said dejected. "I heard how powerful you are from Kokushibō-dono. So don't disappoint." The last part coming out stern. Akaza placed Kaigaku on his shoulders before running off with to who knows where. And Douma could only pray for the kid now.
