Chapter 9: Damage

I called Czar to pick me up because I did not want to take my car. Stacy had the tracker for it and I did not want her tracking me right now. We talk about trusting each other but I had one last thing I had to take care of without any disturbance.

"You and Kimmy have been back and forth for years now enuh, she really thought it would have been her this time" Czar said. He was right but Kimmy had to understand that I was not thinking straight.

"I never tell her nothing like that" I said.

"Me know enuh G but the way she feels about you is a different kind of love" He said.

"She just have to understand I am working on my family" I said.

I knew deep down in my heart it would not be that easy. I know what Kimmy and I meant to each other and the history between us, the things we knew about each other than no one else knew. Kimmy was during my high school days, she was before all the fame. We tried but her school and my music got in the way but somehow we always made our way back to each other. This time it had to be over, this time I had to make her understand that we need to hop off the roller coaster ride that we just keep getting on.

I called her to let her know I was on my way, she probably thought that I was coming to lay up with her because she sounded excited as hell.

I told Czar I would send him a message when he could pick me up. He told me he was not leaving and he will be in the parking lot waiting for me. We did not travel with security and no one knew where we were so he did not want to leave me here alone. I got inside the house and just as I thought, she was dress in a sexy lingerie, sage burning, wine on a table and two blunts. This was not that kind of party, I just wanted to let her know the deal and be out.

"Babe I'm glad you came, I was calling your phone all of yesterday but I was not getting you, you need to give me Czar's number for when I can't get to you" She said.

"Was busy with LJ, his mom was on the road" I said.

"How that going with her, you still keeping her at the house?" She asked. I watched her as she lights a blunt and pour wine in both glasses, she offered me the lit blunt and I told her no, she puffed it instead.

"That's what I am here to talk to you about Kimmy" I said. She noticed the look on my face, she knew when I was being serious.

"Something wrong Garrick?" She asked. I removed the glass from her hand and placed it on the table.

"Kimmy you know we always have each other right?" I asked.

"Yes I know. Why, are you trying to tell me something?" She asked.

"Stacy and I are going to work on our family, we decided to give our relationship a try" I said. She pull her hand away from mine, put the blunt out on the table and got up. She was pacing back and forth trying hard to fight back her tears.

"What have I done to you Garrick? Why do you keep doing this to me? Is it because I didn't not keep the baby? That was years ago, I was going to school and what was supposed to do Garrick, this why you're punishing me?" She asked. She started to cry, I tried my best to console her but she would not allow me to touch her.

"Kim God know I am sorry for all this. It has nothing to do with the baby, it just timing, life just come at me and I have to do right by my son and his mother" I said.

"Suh what about me, I can give you a baby too Garrick. What she has that I don't?" She asked. I knew it would be real fucked up if I told her my heart so I kept quiet and allow her to talk.
