Chapter 16: Enemy in the Camp

I asked Line to accompany me to the lawyer's office and he did just for support. When I got there the lawyer's assistant was someone he knew. She kept flirting with him like I was not even sitting right there. Every opportunity she got to talk to him or touch him she use is.

"Tell me you never used to fuck her" I said. He looked and flashed his big grin.

"Every female me talk to you aguh think me fuck them?" He asked.

"Yes!" I replied.

He laughed at me and then introduce me to the girl as his wife and from there on she stopped being so friendly with him. She even passed couple time like she did not know him. I was being insecure and I could not even hide it.

The lawyer told us that the contract from the record label for Pasha was solid. I was excited to get to Pasha and tell him the good news. When I got to his house there was no sign of him. I called his phone and couple times and I got no answer. I had no idea where to find him plus Line was getting frustrated with the entire situation. There was no sense in staying there so we decided to stop by Junior.

It was the first time Line was actually invited to my apartment he was walking around inspecting the place like he was going to buy it. Junior was giggling because he knew Line was about to say some slick shit and Gina kept out of the way because she knew that she was not Line's favorite person.

"Wwah Brownman yuh baby sitter give you a nice place doah" Line said. I tried my best to ignore him.

"The place nice for real man" Junior replied.

"Suh you have no clue who might be after you? Line asked Junior.

Look at them getting along, I would not imagine Junior would be talking to Line like this after he stole the man woman I thought to myself. It made me giggle and little.

"Not a single clue, I am just here trying to figure out my next move" He said. His phone rang and he said it was his uncle.

Junior took the call and it seemed something was going on, he was asking who is this and what the person wanted, he told the person that he would be there soon and begging them not to do anything until he got there, he hang up and throw the phone into the wall.

"A wah!?" We all asked at the same time.

"The man dem deh a me house with me father and uncle and have them at gun point" He said. He was shaking now. My heart was beating fast, we were confused now.

"Yo make me call Cross and we will go with you" Line said.

"No Artist me can't make you come with me. Send cross but you have to stay here with Stacy" Junior said. I had no clue what do but Line could not go, I was not taking that chance.

"Line you can't go shit goes down I would not know what to do with myself" I said.

"A my fight this, a me dem want to see so I will go and find out what them want from me" Junior said.

I started to cry because to how serious everything looked I was anticipation the worse for him. Never in a million years would I imagine that this would ever be a situation for us. I called Tricia and told her what was going on and she said she was on her way to the apartment. Junior pulled me to a corner to talk with me.

"If shit goes down everything was in your name, I never got the chance to change it and I never wanted to change it because I had hoped for us" He said. I was shock to learn this because I had no clue about it.

"When I took you the day from the plaza I was taking you to my house to show you all the paper work and give it to you as a birthday gift because you have helped me more than anyone else in my life and I wanted you to have a part of my legacy, no matter where this life might take us. Your loyalty and love for everyone you care about is real, one that money can't buy. So if anything should go down today, it's all yours" He said.
