HOSKINS DID WHAT?!

Blue's Pov

I looked down to see a sleeping Phoenix, only to look back up to see Echo looking at me, "she must be both mentally and physically exhausted about everything that's happened," I did a slight nod before saying, "that scientist, Wu. He experimented on our, Phoenix," Charlie gave me a look as he said, "don't you mean, your Phoenix?" Echo and Delta laughed as I glared at Charlie before saying, "I have no idea what you're talking about," Delta scoffed, "yeah right. You know exactly what we mean," I rolled my eyes, "not the point-" but Echo, Charlie and Delta cut me off as they said, "you're not denying it," I wanted to growl at them, but I didn't want to wake Phoenix as I looked down at her. Delta then asked, "do you think that she could possibly be able to turn into a Raptor?" I thought about how to answer that as we all looked at Phoenix who needed the sleep as she had dark circles around her eyes. I smiled a bit as she snuggled closer to me before I said, "I think she may be getting closer to possibly turning into one," they all nodded a bit before they smiled especially when Charlie started to say, "bro admit it. She's your mate," before I could argue Echo added, "you know when something is wrong with her. . ." Delta then piped up, "you also get super protective over her when anyone other than, Barry, her father who just so happens to be our Alpha, and her mother are in contact with her. . ." Charlie then said smugly, "you also calm down when she is around or when she is in physical contact of you. You also calm down when you hear her voice. . ." then they all stated at the same time, "and you always wait at the gate for her to show up, along with moping around when she isn't here," I rolled my eyes and asked, "how long have you guys been practicing that pitch for?" They tried to act innocent, but before any of them could respond Phoenix's phone went off which caused her to grab it and answer it after yawning, "Barry, what's up?" We had no idea what Barry was saying to her, but with the way her face changed from being tired to being fully alert and angry, we could tell that something was wrong as she growled, "Hoskins. Did. WHAT?!" Yup she's angry alright. We didn't know exactly what was being said, but I did notice that she had put a hand on her left side as a pained look came onto her face, but she shook her head as she said, "if he goes near my Raptor's, I'll rip his arm off" before long she ended the call as she started muttering to herself angrily which made Echo, Delta, and Charlie laugh, and for me to chuckle slightly as she looked exasperated at us before a yawn came out along with a wince as she held her side and concern took over me as I asked, "you okay?" She shook her head as she muttered, "it feels like I'm on fire," I nuzzled into her side she was holding as we all watched as relief filled her once pained expression and Echo murmured, "I think it be best to keep you from feeling angry," she nodded before she leant herself against me again, while we all watched with smiles as she couldn't keep herself from falling asleep again, which caused her to snuggle against me and my eyes went wide when I heard soft little purrs come from her and the others looked at me in confusion as Delta asked, "what?" I looked at them and said, "listen," they then listened and I watched as their eyes widened as Charlie quietly exclaimed, "she's purring?!" I nodded and they all exchanged smirks and I rolled my eyes at them as their smirks just grew along with my frustration.

Phoenix's Pov

I hadn't realized I had fallen back to sleep after talking to Barry, but when I did wake up, I stood up as I heard a sound of a Helicopter realizing something is going to be going down. Something is also telling me that something bad is going to happen. Also what Barry told me was that Hoskins had called people from Ingen to come to the Island and 'help' with the situation, but what they don't know is that they are only going to make it worse by being here. Also I swear if they go anywhere near my raptors I will personally kill them myself.

It was half an hour later when I got a call, which caused me to look at the caller ID before answering.

Phoenix: Hey dad, what's up?

Owen: Masrani's gone.

Phoenix: What do you mean gone?

Owen: He flew the helicopter, but the Indominus broke into the bird cage.

Phoenix: Which caused those prehistoric birds to flee.

Owen: Yeah, but when they escaped, they attacked the chopper and Masrani was flying it when it crashed.

Phoenix: That's one way to go. Is mum okay?

Claire: I'm okay, sweetie.

Owen: Nix, I need you to stay with the Raptors, okay?

Phoenix: Okay. Be safe.

Owen: We will. We love you kiddo.

Phoenix: Love you too.

Dad then hung up and I looked at the Raptors before I started to feel angry, because of the Indominus and if she becomes the reason any of the Raptors get hurt, I will personally end her myself. I'm also worried about those Camp Cretaceous kids, but all I can hope for is that they are safe along with hoping that Roxie and Dave didn't leave them on their own, because that would only spell disaster of max proportions.
