A Whole Lot Of Pain

Right now I was on the back of my father's motorcycle as we had just released the Raptors and we were now driving with them on either side of us. With Barry a bit behind us, unfortunately with Ingen as well. Yay! But I am attempting to ignore that fact. So I just focused on just enjoying watching the raptors running free and they seemed to like it too as Charlie boasted, "I'm going to beat you all to our target!" Echo then argued, "not if I beat you first!" Delta just scoffed as she replied, "keep dreaming idiots!" Blue just shook his head before looking over and stating, "you're enjoying this a little too much. Aren't you?" I just tried to shrug as innocently as I could, while still holding onto my dad, before grinning as Charlie said, "in other words. Yes. Yes, she is enjoying watching us be free," but all of a sudden I could tell we were getting closer to the Indominous, but just to be sure, I asked, "we're close. Aren't we?" All four of them turned their heads slightly before nodding as they all started to slow down. Barry must've noticed as he called over to dad, "they're slowing down," dad then said into his mic so the Ingen people could hear, "they got something," before coming to a complete stop as I jumped off the bike and walked over towards the Raptors as I could smell blood, but before I could even get near the Raptors I was pulled down by my father behind a log as everyone had their guns trained on the Indominus as she stalked out of the thicket. 

I ignored all the humans around as I focused on the Raptors and the Indominous as she said, "look at this, a small pack of Raptors," Charlie was quick to ask, "what is it that you want?" "I want the humans to pay, for keeping me in a cage," Echo then said, "but they do it for safety reasons," "and who told you that?" Delta then said, "our friend and pack mate, Phoenix," the Indominous then looked at me as she called, "come here little human," I then got up from behind the log and walked towards them. Blue was quick to stand protectively next to me as he said, "don't you dare hurt her," I just petted Blue's neck as I stated, "you're part Raptor," "you're right little human. But you seem different to the other humans. Why's that?" "Because . . . I guess I'm a bit like you," "you're right, because I can sense the Raptor within you wanting to come out," my eyes widened at that but Blue was quick to ask, "why go after all the humans, why not just go after the one's that wronged you?" "Where would the fun in that be?" I then said, "you hunt for sport. Not for survival," "you'll understand soon," Charlie, Echo, Delta, Blue and I then asked, "what does that mean?" The next thing I knew she was making the sound she had made at Paddock 11 which caused me to grasp my sides in pain as I fell to my knees as it then started to feel like my body was being ripped apart and put back together as I let out a blood curdling scream that turned into a Raptor cry.

When it stopped feeling like I was being ripped apart I let out a few whimpers before I felt someone nudge the side of my head which caused me to turn my head slightly and look up as I saw Blue looking at me with awe, but also concern, but I looked at Charlie as he said, "you look awesome as a Raptor," I tilted my head in confusion before I slowly tried to get up, but Blue was quick into getting me to use him as support before he asked, "you okay?" I looked at him and snarled, "it feels like I got torn apart and then put back together again," he chuckled as Echo pointed out, "if you think about it, it might've just happened," I tilted my head again as Charlie said, "look at yourself," I then turned to look at my self, but found a Raptor body where my human body should be which resulted in me yelping slightly as Delta commented, "you're finally a Raptor," "this'll take a little bit of getting use to," I muttered which received four chuckles. We then turned our attention to the Indominous as she said, "you understand what it's like to be like us bound to be kept in cages alone," "you were given a sibling, but you ate her," "irrelevant. But what do you think of humans?" "Not all of them are bad. There are some good humans that mean no harm to us," was my response as I thought back to the Camp Cretaceous kids, my cousins, my parents and my T-rex loving friend Luna. "All those humans are good for is being a food source," I glared at the Indominus before looking at the Raptor Squad as they said, "we get that, but not all humans are bad or a food source. Like our Alpha, Phoenix's dad, or Barry," she huffed as she said, "but what good have they done for you. After all it wouldn't be hard to get revenge on them," I shook my head, "as tempting as that offer may be," Blue then said, "you ain't our Alpha," Charlie, Echo, and Delta all agreed with both Blue and I. The Indominus just chuckles as she says, "we'll see about that," we all looked at each other in confusion before we noticed she was looking at something behind us. When we turned to look we saw she was looking directly at my father. However us turning to look at the humans caused the fearful ones to begin shooting at us forcing the five of us to split up. I became disoriented as a missile directed towards the Indominus detonated too early, wounding the hybrid dinosaur instead of killing it as intended. 

Shrapnel flying everywhere. . . .
