Chapter 20

All of us ran to the emergency room and we saw Avery fighting the guards. "LET ME SEE HER! I NEED TO KNOW IF SHE'S FINE!" Avery yelled, punching another guard. We pulled Avery away from the guards and she was about to fight me and Rachel to get into the room. "Avery! You need to fucking calm down! The light is on so she's in surgery right now! So fucking calm down!" Rachel said, struggling to hold onto Avery. We saw the light turned off and the doctor came out. Avery pushed us away and ran to the doctor. "Is she alright! Is she waking up! How is she doc!" Avery said, panicking a bit. "She's going to be fine but however... We don't know when she's going to wake up. You can see her now." The doctor said walking away from us. Avery burst into the room and we followed her. Allison started crying and I hugged her while Rachel and Crystal were hugging each other as well. Avery was next to Sasha's side holding her hand. "How did this happen? I thought Sasha and Avery were staying at the headquarters and you three were together?" I asked Rachel. Rachel sighed. "You probably need to sit down to hear the story."

Rachel's POV

    "Allison, step back!" I yelled at Allison before killing another rogue. Allison stepped back before a beast scratched her. "Rachel watch out!" Crystal yelled, while helping Allison with a beast. I dodged another beast's attack and I killed the beast in one swing. There's too many of them! Think Rachel! I looked around and a lot of sky wolves were injured. I just remembered something. I pulled out my flare gun and shot a flare in the air. I put away my flare gun and ran to Crystal and Allison to help them kill a beast. We kept fighting and I was getting weaker because I'm running out of stamina. I saw a rogue running at me fast and I wasn't fast enough to kill it. I was about to get bit until a bullet went through it's head. I looked ahead and I saw Avery and Sasha with snipers. I smirked and Sasha and Avery were running up to us. "So Rachel, getting tired huh? At the point you need us." Avery said, killing another rogue. "Avery just shut up and keep shooting." Sasha said, killing two rogues. Avery smirked and they were killing rogues and beasts back and forth. I chuckled and got into a fighting position and I was helping Crystal and Allison. 20 minutes later, all of us were breathing heavily. Avery ran out of ammo and pulled out brass knuckles. There were too many of them and we needed to get the injured sky wolves out of here. "Okay Allison, Avery you two head back with the sky wolves. We can take care of the rest." Sasha said, reloading her sniper. "But Sasha, you're running out of ammo, I can still fight." Allison said, pulling out a knife. "No she's right, you two head back, they are after you Allison and we need to make sure you're safe." I said, tossing Sasha more ammo. "Rachel, maybe you should come with us since you don't look too good." Avery said, grabbing my shoulder. "I will be fine, I have Crystal just in case I get hurt again and Sasha will back me up." I said, smiling at her. Avery nodded and Allison and Avery started running back with some injured sky wolves.

We were buying them time to get everyone out of here. Finally the area was about to be cleared until more beasts and rogues came in with a person wearing a hood. They took off their hood and it was a female. The rogues and beasts were about to attack us until the woman roared at them and they stopped in place. We were shocked and I felt like my hands were shaking. I glanced at Sasha and Crystal and they were scared too. The woman looked at me and she pulled out two swords. In a blink of an eye she charged at me and I barely blocked her attack. She's too fast! Is this how Seth felt when she was fighting her brother! I kept blocking her attacks. I finally managed to kick her away from me only for a bit though. She glared at me and was about to attack again until a bullet almost hit her. I looked at Sasha and she was pointing her pistol at her. Crystal tried to shoot her as well with her bow and arrow but she dodge it. The female ran up to Crystal, grabbed her by the neck and slammed her on the ground. "CRYSTAL!" I yelled. Crystal coughed out blood and she was struggling to breathe. I ran up to the female and swung my sword towards her but she disappeared. I was confused and looked around and she was standing on my sword.
