Chapter 17

We finally got to the building and we saw Sasha and Allison packing up supplies while Crystal was helping Rachel put the gas into the bikes. We walked up to them and they saw us. Sasha ran up to Avery and she tackled Avery with a hug. Rachel and Crystal ran up to me asking if I was okay and I nodded. "I'm fine but can I get a new shirt? The person who attacked us cut my shirt." I said to them but someone threw a tank top at my face. I grabbed the shirt off my face and it was Allison and she was glaring at me. I was confused why she is mad at me? Did I do something wrong? I shrugged my shoulders. I took off my jacket and my ripped up shirt and put on the tank top. I also put my jacket back on and Crystal put her hand on my cut cheek. I flinched a bit and Crystal put a band aid on the cut. "It wasn't a deep cut so you don't need to get this checked out." Crystal said, smiling a bit. I smiled at her a bit and I looked at Avery. She told me we shouldn't tell them about Violet controlling a beast until we know 100 percent that she was controlling it. I was deep into my thoughts until Rachel pulled me out of my thoughts. "Did you get the person's name that was attacking Avery?" Rachel said, raising her eyebrow. "Yeah, her name was Violet, she was a better sharpshooter than Avery and she was dodging mine and Avery's attack at the same time." I said, remembering her movements.

"Back up, it was a girl?" Sasha said, crossing her arms. I nodded confused. "She had the hots for Seth while trying to kill her, she even licked her knife when she cut her cheek." Avery said, wrapping her arm. I glared at her and Avery smirked at me. I looked at Allison and it looked like she wanted to cut me. "So she was flirting with you while trying to kill you?" Crystal said, sounding confused. I nodded. "Forget about the fucking flirting we need to go because they know that we are here so no more questions!" I said, getting on one of the bikes and starting it. Sasha sat behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist while Rachel sat in the sidecar. I was confused and I saw Allison wrapping her arms around Avery's waist and Crystal sitting in the sidecar on the other bike. I looked at Avery and she shrugged her shoulders and I shook my head and drove the bike out of the area. We kept driving and Rachel was playing with her ring while I was driving while Sasha was humming. We were close to the border until we heard a huge howl. We looked behind us and a bullet almost hit Rachel. I recognized the gunshot and glanced behind me and it was Violet riding on an alpha beast with an army of rogues. My eyes went wide and started to go faster. Sasha and Rachel looked behind me and saw Violet and they pulled out their pistols and started shooting behind us. Crystal and Allison were doing the same. Now I wish Allison was driving their bike because then Avery would try to snipe Violet. "Hey Seth! Tell your crazy girlfriend to fuck off and suck someone else's dick!" Avery yelled at me. I glared at her. "Now's not the time for fucking jokes, Avery! We need to lose them!" Sasha yelled at her. I was trying to come up with a plan until I saw Crystal's sidecar was big enough to carry at least two more people. I glanced at Rachel and signaled her. Rachel looked at me then at Avery's bike and her eyes went wide.

"No! No fucking way Seth! We just got you back and we are not leaving you!" Rachel yelled at me. "She only wants me and Allison but Allison isn't an option! So go with Avery and them! I will be fine!" I said to her with one hand. Rachel was about to argue with me until Sasha grabbed her arm. "We don't have time to argue Rachel! Seth is right we have to go! You better fucking come back to us I swear to god Seth because you still need to talk to Allison!" Sasha yelled at me and Rachel. I nodded and I got close to Avery's bike as much as I could and Rachel jumped into the sidecar holding onto Crystal. Sasha gave me the if you don't come back I will kill you look. Sasha jumped into the sidecar as well and Allison tried to jump to my bike but Crystal and Sasha stopped her. "What are you guys doing! I have to go with her so let me go! Seth, don't do this!" Allison yelled at me with tears in her eyes. I smiled at her and drove away from them. Avery and Allison yelled my name while I was driving away. I glanced behind me and I saw Violet following me while most of her rogues were following Avery and them. I kept driving until I stopped at the edge of a cliff. I looked ahead and I will not make that jump. I looked at Violet and she got off her beast and a whole bunch of rogues wanted to attack me but the beast wouldn't let them. "Finally Seth, we're alone. Now you have nowhere to go so at this point you should give up and come with me to have a touching family reunion with your brother again. I will make sure he won't beat you to death before you become my pet." Violet said, grinning at me while walking up to me slowly. I was glaring at her and she's right I have nowhere to go. I got off my bike and put my hands up. Violet smirked and pulled out handcuffs. "I knew you would make the right choice." Violet said, licking her lips. "You're right, I did make the right choice." I said to her. I turned around towards the cliff and jumped off the cliff. I heard a scream while I was falling. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. This is it, after 6 years of fighting I will die like this. I'm sorry guys I don't think I'm coming back this time. 

I waited for the impact to come in until I opened my eyes and I was flying. I was confused until I looked up and I saw a wolf with a glider holding me with their legs. They looked at me and smirked at me. "I got to say, you have guts for jumping off this cliff." They said gliding us away from the cliff. I was confused and the sun was hitting my eyes and I covered my eyes a bit and I looked forward and my eyes went wide. It was a city like my home but this city doesn't have a wall instead they are in trees. "Welcome to Starhallow." They said, laughing a bit. The city was a bit far away and I was amazed at how this city looks. "It's beautiful isn't it, you're from Rosemire aren't you?" They said, looking at the city. I nodded slowly. "You're probably wondering how do I know, it's simple you're wearing a shadow wolves jacket, there was a popular shadow wolf here 6 years ago and she would always visit once a month but we haven't seen her since." They said, smiling sadly. We got closer to the city and I was shocked by what I saw, there were wolves with humans getting along. We finally landed and the person that caught me let me go gently before they landed. 5 other people landed next to the person that saved my life and all of them took off their goggles. There were 2 guys and 3 girls. The person that saved me was a girl and she offered her hand to help me up. I took it and I got up. "You don't talk that much do you?" She said, checking me out. I shook my head. "Don't worry I know sign language so you can talk to me but some of the people here don't" She said, walking away from me. Someone ran up to us and handed her a cloak. She put the cloak on and it had a symbol like my jacket does. The symbol was a wolf with wings and mine was a wolf controlling a shadow. "Ah, I haven't told you my name yet. My name is Skylar, leader of the sky wolves." She said, offering me a handshake. I shook her hand and said "My name is Seth, was a student in training." I said. Skylar was confused. "Then why do you have a leader's jacket on?" She said, pointing at my jacket. "It was my sister's jacket, she was the leader of the shadow wolves but she's gone now.." I said, looking down. "I'm sorry for your loss, I understand how you feel. My brother was the leader of the sky wolves until his recent death so now I'm in charge." Skylar said, smiling a bit. I was about to ask her what happened until someone ran up to Skylar saying that 5 people just arrived here while fighting rogues behind them. Skylar was about to say something until I started running to them. I looked around and I saw them on the ground getting off the bike. I felt an arm around my waist and saw Skylar smirking at me with her glider and we flew down to the ground. We landed and I started running again. Allison saw me and started running to me and I hugged her and she hugged me back. "Seth! You're okay! I thought... I thought.." Allison couldn't finish her sentence and was crying. I was petting her head and hugged her tighter. 

Avery and them ran up to us and hugged us as well crying. "You stupid ass whore! Always beating us and scaring us!" Avery said, punching my shoulder softly. "We're so glad you're okay but how did you get here before us?" Sasha said, wiping her eyes. "I was going to ask that question but yeah you went the opposite direction from us?" Rachel said, slapping the back of Avery's head. Crystal was also curious until we heard someone clear their throat. All of us looked at Skylar. "I believe I can answer that question but right now do you guys want to come with me to get something to eat and freshen up a bit." Skylar said, smiling at us. All of them let me go and we nodded. Skylar started walking and all of us were following her. "Are we in Oregon by the way? Ms.. um" Avery said. "Skylar. And yes you guys are in Oregon." Skylar said, laughing a bit. "This is incredible. I haven't seen another human for days." Crystal said, looking around. "We make sure that Starhallow is a safe place for wolves and humans, 6 years ago we didn't even allow anyone in until we met a weird but amazing wolf that came from Rosemire, she showed us that there is hope in the era we are in today." Skylar said, proudly. "That's amazing! What was she like?" Sasha said, looking curious. "She was a loving person, smart, beautiful and she would non stop talk about her sister as well, she was also a fine swordswoman as well, my brother the old leader was in love with her but she turned him down saying that she loved someone else, ah here's the statue of her." Skylar said, pointing at the statute. Avery's and Rachel's eyes went wide. I was confused until I looked at the statue and I was about to cry.

It was a statue of Brook.
