After dinner, Eunra excused herself to the washroom.

Eunra was washing her hands after the bathroom and another person came next to her.

"Eunra-ssi?"

She looks up and realised it was Suryeon.

"Ah, Mrs Joo." She nods politely. She takes a towel and wipes her hand before turning towards Suryeon.

Suryeon notices her small details and was astonished by her elegance and posture.

"You can ease yourself and call me Suryeon." Suryeon smiled.

Eunra let out a small smile.

"No, I prefer to call you Mrs Joo, in respect for you."

Suryeon was surprised at Eunra's defence but understood how she had been socialising with all the influential people of Korea, she must be careful at her way of speech.

"Eunra must be a tough girl. You and your brother work so hard at such a young age." Suryeon spoke gently.

Eunra smiled, a little awkward. She hasn't spoken to Suryeon for a long long time, and sometimes she even forgets she was like a mother figure to her.

"Eunra's parents, are they abroad?" Suryeon carefully asked.

Eunra's eyes instantly filled with sadness, but she held her posture.

"No, Mrs Joo, they had passed away when we were very young. Our grandfather brought us up."

Suryeon couldn't help but pity Eunra.

But to Eunra, she didn't need anyone's pity.

Suryeon suddenly held Eunra's hand, shocking her a little.

"It must be so hard, having to grow up without parents." Suryeon softly pats on Eunra's hand. "I want you to know that now we live so near, you can find me always for any problem. Treat me like a mother. I want you to be cared for. I can see it all through you. You are tough on the outside, but you are actually a very soft girl. Know that I am here."

Eunra was touched by Suryeon's speech. It really did remind her of the past when Suryeon would care for her like a mother, or even to say so, more than her own birth mother.

It made her thought, whether this revenge would destroy her as well.

Suryeon would be the only one she would exclude. She was too kind to her.

Eunra lets out a smile. "Thank you, Mrs Joo. That's very kind of you."

Suryeon smiled and gently went closer to Eunra to give her a gentle hug.

"So glad to see you."

She smiled again before exiting the washroom. "I'll head out first."

Eunra nods politely, bids farewell to Suryeon.

As soon as Suyeon left,
Eunra leaned on the side of the sink and looked at the mirrors, reflecting her tired soul.

She looked at her pale face. She reached for her purse and took out her pill bottle, where she poured two pills out to eat. She tiredly swallowed it and put the bottle back into her purse.

She sighed.

"Thank you Suryeon... but there is nobody that could save this broken soul... I am a fallen angel."

A tear fell.

She wipes the tear off her pale face, puts on her blood-red lipstick, fixed her hair, and fixed her confident smile, and strutted out of the washroom.
