21 Again

"That lunatic really sat there since 6 pm waiting for you, sister." Eunbaek laughed, as he looks at his phone, where one of their bodyguards undercover took a photo of Joo Seokhoon in the Hera Palace hall. 

Eunbaek showed Eunra. 

Eunra calmly looked at the photo, letting out a smirk. 

"He really did." 

Eunra crosses her arms, looking at the dark sky, and the shimmering lights from the view of Korea. 

She was contemplating why she had to see Joo Seokhoon. She knew her plan was to get him to fall in love with her again, so she could proceed with her revenge on the Joo family. But lately, she had been starting to have second thoughts. That frightened her. 

She worried if this time, she will endlessly fall for Joo Seokhoon again. 

Maybe she did start to fall for him, but her conscience told her not to. He is the son of their family's murderer, Joo Dan Tae. And a hero, must never fall in love with the villain. 

Her thoughts were a mess. 

"Aren't you being too harsh on him? 3 hours of waiting, how persistent of him." Eunbaek calmly commented as he laid back on the sofa. 

Eunra's brows tightened together. 

"3 hours isn't too much if he is persistent." 

"Seems like he is quite determined to personally talk to you." Eunbaek looked at his sister, searching for a clue in her expressions. 

As a twin, he knew almost every expression his sister makes. And to make her sister think for the whole day in whether to meet Joo Seokhoon, he knew why. 

He had witnessed it all before. Deep down, if it wasn't for the damage Seokhoon had once done onto Eunra, he would still support this best friend of his. They were like brother once. 

But family. Before anything. 

He couldn't bear to see her sister being destroyed once more. 

"Either you go. Or give up this painful waiting and head to sleep."  Eunbaek spoke softly. 

"I will go. But I want him to know I am not that easy to be persuaded." 

"Sister, it is our goal to destroy Joo Dan Tae, but must you torture yourself by getting involved with Joo Seokhoon again? Didn't he..."

 "Oppa stop." Eunra sighed. "I know what I am getting into." She looks at Eunbaek, "yesterday, Joo Dan Tae personally left Joo Seokhoon with me, because he had already wanted our families to join hand so he could use us to get to more wealth. We are one step closer! Even now with Joo Dan Tae wanting this relationship, wanting to fall into our trap, we must not lose this chance." 

Eunbaek sighed. 

"If only the world could see how much pain you had gone through, sister." Eunbaek stood and held Eunra in his arm. 

"Eunra, remember, Oppa will always be here. I don't want you to be hurt again. Do whatever you want. Oppa will defend for you, no matter what." Eunbaek broke their embrace and held onto Eunra's face, softly. "Family, before anything." 

Eunra nods. "Family before anything else." 

"Are you sure Joo Seokhoon would be willing to sacrifice for you? He might be like us too, wanting his fame, fortune and family." Eunbaek worriedly thought. 

"Well, that's up to your sister to work it out." Eunra smiled. "I think the wait is over. It's time." 

Eunbaek smiled.
