It's been a few days since I went to the park with my brother, but I'm down stairs with Jack and the kids doing some more wedding planning and talking about other things.

"So, I have a question that I realize I should have asked a while ago." I tell Jack as he sits down at the couch with me.

"Okay, shoot." He says.

"The public and lavender. When we were at the park with my brother some girls wanted a picture of me and Lavender with them and I wasn't quite sure what the deal is with that." I tell him. "I told them that a picture of me and the girls would have have to due cause I wasn't comfortable with Lavender being in the picture too."

"Well, I agree with that decision. Until she's old enough to decide for herself, the only pictures she needs to be taking with anyone is close family and friends." He says agreeing with me.

"Okay. I just wanted to double check, that's what I figured, but you never know." I reply. He smiles and goes to say something when I get a phone call.

"Bella Thomson." I state plainly, seeing as I didn't recognize the phone number.

"Bell." I hear my brothers voice shaky and raspy.

"Jacob? You okay?" I ask startled at his tone of voice and sit up. Jack looks at me with concern.

"No, not really." He replies.

"What's wrong?" I ask, Jack mouthes 'what's wrong, is he okay?' But all I can do in reply is shrug and mouth back 'no idea'.

"Remember how I told you I might have to leave again?" He asks me.

"Do you have to go?" I ask.

"Yeah. I'm so sorry, I wish I could have stayed longer, I-" he tries to get more out but I cut him off.

"Go do what you need to do. Just come home safe." I tell him. Jack finally catches on and moves over to sit next to me. "When do you leave?"

"They're boarding right now." He says.

"Oh, wow. Well, I love you." I tell him.

"Love you more Bell." He replies and hangs up.

"That was so strange." I tell Jack.

"How so?" He asks.

"He normally gets more notice then that. I'm just worried."

"Don't be, he's strong and resilient." Jack reassures me. I smile and nod and rest my head on his shoulder with a bad feeling sitting in my stomach.

The interaction was short that I'm concerned with how important and or dangerous his mission could be. But there isn't much I can do about that, can I?
