"Peace without justice is equivalent to institutionalizing injustice."

~ Omar Barghouti

"Our focus these next few months will be on land redistribution. As many of you may know, UniFed dissolved at least fifty countries at their establishment. Some of these countries have been unjustifiably taken away from the native people living there. These innocent people lost their lands, schools, jobs, families, and lives over mass displacement and ethnic cleansing. Palestine was the first of many to fall victim to these atrocities, and so I am here to announce to you today that the nation of Palestine is officially restored, recognized, and protected. Over the next few weeks, we will work diligently to achieve the same for every other country that this World has failed."

Leon steps down from the podium and we start heading back to the Insurrectors' HeadQuarters.

Zahra greets us first with tears in her eyes, "Thank you," she whispers.

I shake my head, "Don't thank us for simply doing the right thing."

Taika hums her agreement, "It's a shame that the World never stood up for countries like Palestine and remained silent instead. And it's a bigger shame that there were people who supported the oppressors."

We start finalizing plans for land redistribution. We have to figure out how to allocate resources for an efficient process and effective results. And then we place measures to ensure these restored and free nations never have to go through erasure and displacement ever again.

"Have you ever thought of a new name for us?" Taika asks.

"What do you mean?" Leon inquires.

Taika clarifies, "Well the governing body before us was UniFed, short for Universal Federation. I think it's safe to say that we are now the governing body, at least temporarily. We call ourselves the Insurrectors, but that doesn't really apply anymore, does it?"

I shrug, "I don't think we need to come up with a new name."

"Technically, we are still in the midst of the Insurrection. We may not be fighting anyone any longer, but we are still fighting to better this World. The fight isn't always the most relevant part, sometimes the surviving part is what matters more." Leon says.

I raise my eyebrows, "Well said."

"Thank you, thank you." He says, with an exaggerated bow.

"Very humble too," Taika mutters.

He winks at her, "Always."
