Exploring

The group saw the two different routes the cave had and they were trying to figure out what to do

"It appears we need to split up" Gary told the group

"How do we do it then?" Clemont asked

"Me and Gary can go as a duo while you three go together" Ash interjected

"Alright then everyone lets meet up here in... maybe an hour?" Clemont  

"Wait before we go... everyone take one" Gary said as he took out 5 walkie talkies 

Everyone went their separate ways with Ash and Gary taking the cave to the left and the others taking the cave to the right

~~ Serena and the siblings ~~

"I'm kind of scared" Bonnie said as she took the hands of both Clemont and Serena

"Oh don't worry we will protect you" Clemont said looking at his scared sister "Right Serena?"

Clemont then turned to see a shaking Serena

"Serena are you there?" Bonnie asked her shaking friend

"y-yes" Serena stuttered while holding her pokeball

Sylveon then came out and put her feelers around Serena's arm

"Thank you Sylvie" Serena said looking at her fairy pokémon 

The trio walked throughout the endless cave and were starting to lose hope of finding anything

"How much do we need to walk brother?" Bonnie asked tiredly

"I don't know" Clemont responded while being exhausted of walking

"C'mon everyone we can't give up yet!" Serena exclaimed still being enthusiastic

"Fine..." The siblings sighed

They kept walking until they saw a rock that was weirdly glowing

"What's that?" Serena asked looking at the weird rock

"Let's get closer" Clemont said

The trio got close to the rock and saw a glowing stone with a pattern. Serena reached for her walkie talkie to tell Ash and Gary they found a stone

"Hey guys are you there?"

"Yes we are" Gary answered

"I think we found a stone" Serena told the duo while Clemont took the rock with his Aipom arm

"Great! We may or may not have found an interesting part of the cave" Ash yelled from the background

"Ok" Serena said giggling at Ash's little outburst in the background

"We are going to wait for you two at the point we split up ok?" Clemont told the duo

"Alright we'll see you there" Gary said while they both went silent and the trio made their way back

~~ Ash and Gary's POV when they split up ~~

Ash and Gary were walking throughout the dark cavern and had flashlights to light up the cave

"Man we picked the darker cave didn't we" Ash complained

"Well Ashy-boy we are strong trainers so there's absolutely nothing that can happen to us"

"True"
