~~ 8 days later ~~

Ash and his friends walked towards Snowbelle and already found it to be snowing

"Look its snowing a little!" Bonnie exclaimed running in front of the group with her tongue out trying to catch a snowflake 

"Bonnie wait up" Clemont yelled reaching his sister and grabbing her hand

They began walking as it started getting colder and colder.

"I-It's so-o c-cold" Serena whispered shivering from the change in weather and tightening her jacket

"We are getting close then" Gary said in excitement

"Alright!" Ash shouted with his fist in the air and Pikachu doing the same

As a group everyone just grew closer together. Ash and Gary revived a little of their old rivalry and would battle everyday so that how Gary puts it "He doesn't bend out of shape". Clemont would always ask Gary questions about his research in other regions and wanted to know more because of Clemont's own liking of professor Oak. Gary and Bonnie worked together as the teasing Ash and Serena duo and had fun messing with the two. Gary continued to push Ash into blurting out his feelings because he wouldn't be able to keep up that closeness they had if they just stayed friends.

"Dude just tell her man" Gary whispered to Ash as he separated him from the group

"But what if"

"Ash you have absolutely no reason to not tell her"

"But Gary"

"Dude if I didn't know any better I would say you are in a loving relationship so shut up"

"Fine I'll tell her soon"

"You better..."

"Wait why?" Ash turned to Gary confused

"You two have probably been acting like that for a while but because you don't say anything you are probably hurting her"

"I am?"

"To her it looks like you don't  care about her feelings since you just linger as friends although you borderline aren't"

"I do care about her though... very much" Ash whispered to Gary while looking at a walking Serena

"Then tell her because I don't know if you have noticed but she has been getting a little sadder everyday when you aren't there"

"Really?"

"Yes and you not doing anything must be heartbreaking since she probably thinks that you don't reciprocate those feelings"

"I never knew..." A now saddened Ash whispered as he saw Serena holding to her jacket very tightly

"Well now you do and I am telling you now... it doesn't matter where you tell her"

"But you said-"

"I know what I told you... but this has gotten out of hand and now you both are getting upset so just tell her" Gary told Ash trying to push him to talk to Serena

  "You might think of telling her in some big party or in a cool event because only then would she say yes..." Gary whispered to Ash putting his arm on his shoulder

"But I know that she likes you and you like her back so it doesn't matter... All that matters is that you tell her and that you promise to take care of her"

"Thanks Gary"

"Plus its not marriage Ashy-boy so don't take it too seriously" Gary said with a wink trying to light up the mood
