I let her in and quickly closed the door. She sat on the bed with her knees to her chest
"...I'm sorry for what happen, all of this" I said. She stayed quite
I didn't know what else to talk about. I didn't want to say anything to offend or hurt her. She was usually so easy to talk too. You could tell her anything, open up to her and she wouldn't judge. Just sat and listen.
She was a lot softer then Dallas. Even her facial looked softer. She was angelic, even though her bright smile was gone. She seemed gloom. Like a cloud in the sky. It's both beautiful and worry-some
"I-I drew you" I said randomly then quickly looked down, embarrassed. She lifted her head and looked up, interested.
"Um.. y-you wanna see?" I asked and she nodded quietly. At that moment I kinda missed her smile. It was always so reassuring and caring. It brighten anyone's day.
I grabbed my journal from my desk and flipped to the page. I drew her a few times. I handed her the journal. The first page was her, how I first met her. She had on a yellow romper and had her heels in one hand. That warm smile of hers and her soft eyes.
"There's more if you flip through" I said and she turned the page of her fallen asleep with Soda after her first night. Him and Sandy gotten in a fight and Dolly was there for him. She continued to her and Two-Bit watching Mickey mouse, which seem to enjoy. The next one was her, Soda, and Steve on the couch just talking. Same with next one but they were at the DX, again just talking like they used to do all the time before the incident.
She was quiet as she looked at the drawings. But I could see her beginning to smile. Finally after a few pages I drew from her advertisement picture for the DX, she flipped to the page of her and her brother, sitting on the couch together. She let out a sad chuckle. Wiping her tears away
She looked up at me with a smile "Their beautiful, Pony." She said and I smiled.
"It's not creepy, I drew you that much" I said awkwardly but she shook her head
Before she kissed my cheek and I blushed. "I love them" She smiled and I blushed a bit more.
Over the few months we knew her, She fit right in with the gang and most of us have grown a bit of feelings for her. I know I did. But she was older and Dallas sister. She would more and likely end up with Steve or possibly Soda if he wasn't with Sandy. Even Darry's taking a liking to her, which is rare since he only focuses on work.
Everyone seems to have a little crush on her. Except for Dally because that was his sister and Johnny. He saw her as a sister as well, she always took care of him. First time in awhile anyone besides the gang, care for him. That's why he doesn't regret attempting to save her that day.
He was passing by and he saw her in trouble and went in to help. Though it wasn't much and he got badly beaten. He completely changed. He was scared and skittish. He looked like a lost puppy. But he said he wouldn't change a thing what he did. He was gladly take the punches if that meant they wouldn't hurt her like they did.
Out of nowhere, the door bust open and Dally appeared "Come on, Dolly we gotta go" He said grabbing her hand and went down stairs. I followed after them but she stopped.
