as you can see, my style has changed in the way i write the chapter heading. my style hasn't changed much in writing, but i've decided where i'm taking this story, nothing in the previous chapters has been altered just picking back up
_____________________________Class was over today, and the sun was setting. Normally, I'd jump for joy about being able to lie in my own bed, but sharing a room with a girl that has ignored me the entire day doesn't seem like my ideal fantasy.
Maybe I could change rooms...
no y/n, don't be a pussy.
I took in a deep breath and watched the sun ever so slowly go down in the sky from my park bench outside the main building. I told Tendou that I was going to study, and here I am.
"Mind if I sit?"
I turned to the voice and squinted to see his face as he walked closer with the sun setting behind him. I only nodded once I realized it was Asahi. What could go wrong at this point.
"I went to check on Keita. She's just studying if you wanted to go help her." He offered in his usual kind tone.
I smiled remembering the way he threw himself in the midst of a frat party just to ensure her safety that night and turned to face him after he sat down next to me, "I think she'd rather die than have me help her study."
"Why is that?" He asked patiently with an encouraging half smile.
"She was cheated on by Noya with my date, Kiyoko," I took in a deep breath before I dived head first into the summarization of the festival, "Tendou and I got together, and Semi seemed approving of it even though he had feelings for Tendou. Semi ended up going to see Keita after she stormed off. They started ignoring Tendou and I after that encounter, and I have no idea what they talked about." I took a deep breath after spitting all of that out.
Asahi laughed, "Just don't worry about it, okay?"
His nonchalance pissed me off. His chuckle made me want to gouge his eyes out. Just don't worry? What the hell.
"That's kind of hard when Keita is my roommate for the rest of this year, mind you it just started a month ago, and Semi is my best friend." I told him quite irritably.
"So? Friends change all of the time. Make a new best friend, and as for Keita, don't worry about it. I know she's my sister and all, but you can't handle the temperment of that girl sometimes." He scratched the back of his head hesitantly with a gentle laugh, "She's always been very easy to flip like a dime, and she's always been easy to flip back."
"It's different when you're siblings." I muttered hardly encouraged by his 'end it all and start fresh' attitude.
"Maybe so," His voice went back to a calm maturity that made me look back into his eyes from my sulking, "But, things will always happen like this. Are you happy where you are? If not, can you change it? If you are, then why change it?"
I looked down at the buttons on his shirt in thought, "But I miss Semi."
"Then tell him that."
"He will just run away!" I exploded looking back into his ever patient eyes.
"How will you know until you try?" Asahi smiled and stood up with his hand outstretched to help me up, "In fact, you're going to hunt him down and tell him now."
