Ch.22 {The Practical Exam}

"Now, let's begin the last test. Remember, it's possible to fail this final. If you want to go to camp, then don't make any stupid mistakes." Aizawa stood next to the teachers. I raised an eyebrow, "Why are all the teachers here?" Aizawa sighed, "I expect that many of you have gathered information and believe that you have some idea of what you're facing today." Kaminari and Ashido immediately began to cheer, "We're fighting those big old metal robots!" Kaminari shouted and Ashido pumped her fist in the air, "Fireworks! S'mores! Here we come!" Ashido exclaimed when suddenly another muffled voice came from underneath Aizawa's scarf, "Actually, this year's test..." Principle Nezu popped out, "Will be completely different for various reasons!"

I sweat dropped, "Principle Nezu?" "You're changing things?" Momo asked nervously as the small furry started to climb down with Aizawa's scarf. "The tests now have a new focus, there will be hero work of course. But also teamwork and combat between actual people. So what does that mean for you? You students will be working together in pairs, and your opponents will be one of our esteemed UA teachers! Isn't that fabulous?" Nezu explained, and the class went dead silent, while Ashido and Kaminari froze in their spots.

I gulped. Fighting the teachers? How is that going to work? Not to mention the one and only symbol of peace, All Might is literally a teacher. Plus, there's 21 of us here, does that mean someone is fighting alone, or does that mean there will be a group of three? Oh this is going to be hard... During the time I spaced out, I didn't hear what else Aizawa had to say until he pulled out a piece of paper. "Your partners were determined by my discretion, based on various factors, like fighting styles, grades, and in your personal relationships. First, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki. Against me." He looked down at the paper, "Then we have Midoriya and Bakugou..." My eyes widened. Ok, they're dead, they are going to have to work together for this one. I looked over to Midoriya and Kacchan, giving them a sympathetic smile. And Aizawa continued, "Due to the odd number of students, you guys are paired with, L/N as well."

WAIT WHAT?! I quickly glanced over to them as Kacchan gave me a smirk and I groaned. Great, now I have to get those two to work together. "And their opponent is..." Aizawa was cut off as All Might suddenly jumped down from the roof and landed in front of us, "I AM HERE!...To fight." I blinked a few times before processing what just happened. WHAT IN THE WORLD?! And here I thought this couldn't get any harder, we are fighting against All Might?! Out of anyone, All might?! The number 1 pro hero! I sighed, this is going to be fun... "You are going to have to work together boys, if you want to win!" All Might exclaimed while I nodded, glaring at Kacchan and Midoriya. Principle Nezu then announced the teams and the teachers they will be fighting with in order.

1st: Kirishima and Satou vs. Cementoss

2nd: Tokoyami and Asui vs. Ectoplasm

3rd: Ojiro and Iida vs. Power Loader

4th: Todoroki and Yaoyorozu vs. Eraserhead

5th: Uraraka and Aoyama vs. Thirteen

6th: Kaminari and Ashido vs. Nedzu

7th: Jirou and Koda vs. President Mic

8th: Shoji and Hagakure vs. Snipe

9th: Mineta and Sero vs. Midnight

10th: L/N, Midoriya and Bakugou vs. All Might

"To complete the exam, you'll have thirty minutes. In order to win, your objective is to put these handcuffs on your teacher. Or you can win if one of you manages to escape from the combat stage." Nezu announced. "So we either got to capture the teacher or run away. It's basically like the combat training." Stated Kaminari. "Yeah, but is it really ok to just run away?" Ashido pointed out. "Yup!" Nezu responded. "It's gonna be much different than that combat training you all went through earlier. After all, you're up against people wayyy better than you!" President Mic exclaimed while dragging out the "Y". "Better? Really? Wait, Aren't you just the announcer?" I giggled when Jirou questioned. "HEY WATCH YOUR MOUTH GIRL! HAVE SOME RESPECT!" President Mic shouted. "This time, your exam will be very similar to a real battle. As strange as it is, please think of us as villains." Thirteen informed and Snipe added on, "Assuming you come across your enemy, if you think you can win against them, then fight. However..." "In instances where you're outmatched, it would be smarter to run away and find help. Todoroki, L/N, Iida, Midoriya. I'm sure the four of you understand." Aizawa finished, most likely referring to the incident that happened with Stain. I gulped as the memory came flooding back but kept a blank face on. "I won't make that mistake again, I'll pass this test and prove that I am a hero." Iida replied, looking down at his left hand. "So we fight to win or run to win." I confirmed, "It's a test of our decision making skills."
