Ch.23 {The Battle with All Might}

The two were off to a running start, but they stopped to discuss some things while deciding which way to go. Suddenly, they were forced to run in a certain direction due to the pipes and buildings collapsing on them. "The principal looks so comfortable in that crane!" Iida exclaimed beside me. Right, forgot to mention that Momo, Iida and Tsu were now watching the exams as well, since they passed theirs. "Yeah but how is he causing this?" Midoriya asked. "I don't know, he's too far away." I pointed out. "He must've predicted their moves." Momo responded and I raised my eyebrow, "Predicted?" "Yes, I bet he planned his attacks through sophisticated calculations." Momo answered. "Whoa, okay that's cool. He's way too smart for Kaminari and Ashido..." I exclaimed, "Also, are we going to ignore that he's just holding a teacup while absolutely destroying them??" Everyone looked at me with a blank face. "What?!" I laughed along with everyone else.

Soon enough, we turned our heads back to the screen as Nezu sent a wrecking ball to the wall, sending a chain reaction resulting in the explosion far away. "Wait, he sealed off every path to the escape gate!" I noted and observed principal Nezu. "In the past, humans conducted horrible tests on Nezu. So in times like this he gets his vengeance." Recovery Girl explained as we watched our principal laugh like a maniac and couldn't help but sweat drop. Welp...they aren't passing this are they? But I have to hold hope for them! I glanced back at the screen as they came to a dead end and the building collapsed in front of them again. Luckily, Ashido melted a hole in one of the buildings and they walked in. Spoke too soon, the building they were in then fell down on top of them. "Incredible...he's two steps ahead!" Midoriya noted. "They can't attack if they don't know where to find him." Tsu said and I nodded. "The principal's strategy is perfect!" Momo chimed in. And so in the end, they couldn't make it to the escape gate before time ran out... "Team Ashido and Kaminari had failed due to the time limit!"

After that, Hagakure, Shoji, Sero and Mineta passed their exam as well. "It's our turn Deku. Let's go." I looked over at Midoriya and he nodded. Soon, we met with Kacchan but he didn't even spare us a look. "Team Midoriya, L/N and Bakugou. Ready? Go!" The gate slowly opened and we all stepped in. I glanced at Kacchan, but he was glaring furiously at Midoriya before walking ahead of us like we weren't there. "We have to talk to him! We're a team!" I told Midoriya as he nodded his head. We ran towards Kacchan and caught up with him. "Kacchan! Listen, normally I'd suggest that we analyze the villain's combat ability and choose to fight them or run away! But in this, the villain is All Might so we don't need to think about it cause combat is out of the question, it'd be impossible to beat him!" Midoriya talked at a fast speed, not wasting a single second.

"It's a really bad idea Kacchan!" I exclaimed, hoping that he would listen, instead he ignored us again. "All Might is probably waiting for us on the main street, at least take another route-!" I suggested but was cut off by Kacchan again, "I'm not gonna run away. It'll look better if I blast that smile off his face." I groaned, about to say something else but Midoriya interrupted, "No! We should avoid fighting with him no matter what it takes!" "I'm going to toy with him until time is up and then knock him unconscious for real!" Kacchan stated, obviously irritated by Midoriya. Midoriya stopped and mumbled something underneath his breath before running forward again, "Think about this! You know what All Might can do! Even with those handicap weights, it's impossible for you to win against him!---" "Deku!" I rushed to his side as Kacchan swung his gauntlet harshly at Midoriya. He fell back painfully as he held his nose. Somehow, me helping Midoriya annoyed Kacchan even more as he glared at me. "I don't want to hear another word..." He threatened. I gritted my teeth and snapped, raising my voice near the end.
