"What do you mean we can't know about the details?!" Armin questioned as I asked him to leave the room for the fifth time in a row. "It's my friend I'm talking about! Please let us stay, Sergeant."
"Armin, that's not for me to say. It's commander's orders. Usually I'll disobey him, but he's serious, serious. Im sorry, you can't come in."
"Then I'll force myself in."
"I wouldn't recommend that, Mikasa." I shot her a glare. It was harsh but not harsh enough to stop her in her tracks. "Mikasa, do you want to save Eren or not? Cause if you want to. Then go sit down on that bench and place your trust in us. We're going to get Eren out there, alive and well."
Wavering, she stopped and pondered about it. A few seconds later, she walked away from the door that I was currently guarding. Grabbing Armin's hand, she dragged him further away from me. A good two feet to be exact. She stared at me, unsure of her decision.
I gratefully nodded at her, "Thank you for entrusting us. We'll get Eren back into your hands." I turned around, opening the door. Levi and Erwin's eyes was there ones who reached me first. I leaned against the doorframe with a frown and crossed arms in front of my chest.
"What took you so long?"
"I was handling some . . . problems," I stated bluntly, cutting my explanation short.
"And what were the problems?" Levi questioned.
"You."
He glared at me. I shot a glare back. My ears picked up on Erwin's sigh from behind me. Levi clicked his tongue and turned around. I silently celebrated, knowing that I have asserted dominance over him. Erwin cleared his throat, redirecting our attention back to our blond commander. It seems like he was ready to pull out a handful of his hair.
"We got a plan [Y/N]." He stated. I smirked, pushing off the wooden door frame. "It's not that planned out, but we got the format down-"
"So, are we going to do this or not?"

Three days had passed since the incident back at Trost. The news spread like wildfire. Many were suspicious of this new power. I don't know how I ended up here. Standing in front of Eren's cell, keeping an eye on him. Well, more like sinking back into my world. This was far more interesting than watching a minor sleep. Wait . . . isn't that illegal-
"You've gone all soft."
I rolled my eyes, "You went all short." I smirked, "Oh, wait - You're were always this short." I covered my mouth, choking down a chuckle so Erwin won't hit me from making loud noises again. "You should stop hoping that you'll have a growth spout soon. You know it's never going to happen."
"[Y/N], be quiet."
I pouted, looking away from Erwin. I didn't want to make eye contact with him. I knew he was angry by the sound of his voice. And I was not ready to deal with that yet. In the corner of my eyes, I saw Eren stir around in his sleep. He stopped momentarily but suddenly sprang up. Sitting up, he looked around, groggy but still alarmed.
