Quiet, a hush fell onto the crowd. Blood, blood spattered, everything was bloody. It was a massacre, dead bodies. Limbs flying around due the impact of the rocks. Sadly, it wasn't as quiet as it ought to be.

The hooded figure stayed perched on the wall. Eyes on the Beast Titan who has been crushing a bunch of rocks and molding them into a balls. Before throwing them at a bunch of soldiers, destroying them at one go. She could spot Levi from time to time, it looks like he was ordering soldiers around but it was futile with the Beast Titan targeting them.

"What a sight to see."

All of the sudden, she watched the soldiers charge in. They were crying and screaming as they ran straight to the enemy without an plan. Leading them was the well known blond captain, who snapped his reigns, pointing his blade at his enemies. Shouting his orders for everyone to charge ahead and don't look back no matter what.

"Everything that you thought had meaning: every hope, dream, or moment of happiness. None of it matters as you lie bleeding out on the battlefield. None of it changes what a speeding rock does to a body, we all die. But does that mean our lives are meaningless? Does that mean that there was no point in our being born? Would you say that of our slain comrades? What about their lives? Were they meaningless?... They were not! Their memory serves as an example to us all! The courageous fallen! The anguished fallen! Their lives have meaning because we the living refuse to forget them! And as we ride to certain death, we trust our successors to do the same for us! Because my soldiers do not buckle or yield when faced with the cruelty of this world! My soldiers push forward! My soldiers scream out! My soldiers RAAAAAGE!"

"What an inspirational speech."

Though, the courage of these soldiers didn't last long. Their bodies got shattered by rocks, everything fractured at the impact. There were bodies dropping like dead flies. She didn't expect much, but she was still surprised to see soldiers still charging forward even when their commander was blown off his stallion himself.

The future held nothing for these pathetic people, dead bodies, dead horses, corpses and blood. They all sacrificed their life on the battle field for nothing but grasping the small chance  that this will lead to humanity's freedom.

At this time, all but a handful of people were still alive, or at least breathing.

Sneering at the sight, her cape fluttered in the wind. The hood covered her face as she turned away from the scene as soon as she heard the Beast Titan scream out of rage. She had informed Zeke about the short yet strong man. It was the bearded man's fault for not listening to her.

Hooks attached to the wall, she launched herself down onto the roof with no problem. Hopping from one to another. The tiles on the roofs were loose and cracked easily when there was added weight. She unhooked and hooked until she got close enough but not enough to make her presence known.

Staring at the burnt corpse who got laid out on the rooftop. He was all black and crisps, being burnt alive for getting too close to the Colossal Titan. The greened eye boy, picked up Bertolt. He had two missing limbs, both of his arms were cut off. Bringing the blade to his neck, he stood before Zeke.

"DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT  TAKING ANOTHER STEP!" He brought the blade closer to Bertolt's neck, "I'll kill him . . . If it means keeping him out of your hands."

Hands on the handle of my blades, I slid them out and jumped onto the cart Titan. Zeke looked surprise to see me as he thought I have already disappeared. He wasn't the only one that was surprised. Eren had brought Bertolt closer to him, already digging his weapon into his neck.

It was a windy day, the gust of air brushing against the cloak she was wearing. She could feel another presence, looking up, there stood Levi in a pathetic state of mind. She then looked over at Zeke, who still had his eyes on the green eye kid.

"Hey, Zeke. We have to go."

"Eren . . . You look nothing like your father. I know what you're going through." Eren just stood there, flabbergasted. "We are both victims of our father. He brainwashed us."

She furrowed her brows and smacked the man in the head. "Warp up your chit chat, he's coming now." Looking down at the cart Titan, "Pieck get moving before it's too late."

It took her a minute to register who was taking to her. But soon started moving, successfully dodging Levi's attack. Which also brought Zeke back into his right state of mind. He gritted his teeth, looking up at the black haired male.

"Fine. I get it.  You and I are both too tired and injured Levi. Let's call this a draw." Pieck started moving quicker. Zeke took one last look at Bertolt, "Sorry, this looks like this is the end for you-"

Blades clashed against each other, sparks went off as both parties pushed with immense force. Two bloodied blades and two empty eyes. She moved her hand up the handle, now pressing up against him in an different angle. With one flick of her wrist, Levi landed down on the roof top. Fortunately for him, he landed on his feet.

The hooded figure knew if he wasn't as injured as he was right now, then that sword clash wouldn't be easily won. She shot Zeke an look to tell him to keep moving and she'll take care of the rest. She looked down at Levi, who launched himself up, clashing their swords together once again. This time she allowed Levi to get the upper hand.

"You should give up. Look at the state you're in now." She cooed, "You're nowhere as good as me right now sweetheart." She placed all her might back on to the blade, pushing him off her. Grinning, she took off. "Name's Cymbre! I wish to see you soon, Levi!"

His eyes were no longer empty as soon as he heard those words escape their mouth. He fell back, sighing, even with his blood coated face. He was happy. But then he dropped his smile. Was it who he thought it was? Or was it just a coincident?

Staring at the spot where the hooded figure last stood. He completely forgot what was happening around him. Almost as if his surroundings weren't important anymore. Grey eyes dilated, his heart rate increases. He reached out his hands in hopes that whoever that was could run back, straight into his arms.

"Is that where you went? The years I spent searching for you . . . "
