"Hello?" He called out again. This time unsure if anyone was in the room. "Sergeant? Are you in there?"

My eyes dropped down, staring at Levi. His chest rose up and down, now alerted as he knew someone was outside, behind the door. Trying to catch his breath and compose himself. But he forgot his arms were tied together. His grey eyes connected with mines, a flash of worry was seen. My head tilted to the side, staring at him while he struggled to untie his wrists.

Another knock. The person on the other side was getting impatient. Another minute passed, Levi is still trying to untie himself. As time passes, the more he carelessly tries to get out of this situation. Until he halted in his action. His head down, unmoving. A few more seconds passes after that. He sighed, looking up at me with tears in his eyes.

"Fucking untie me..." He whispered out in a desperate tone. Almost like he had given up. "Please [Y/N]."

My eyes crinkled at the edges and the corners of my lips turned upwards. It never takes long. The desperation in his expression, the way he begged for mercy...Soon enough, I was grinning. A few chuckles fell out unexpectedly. It was too fun for the moment to be over, so I just ruffled up his hair with a bigger grin. Knowing that his pride might diminish right now.

Oh, how mortified he'll be~

"Maybe later Levi. I have a guest to greet." I excused myself, walking towards the door with the thought of actually opening the door. My hand rested on the door knob, before stopping on the spot. "Anyways, be a good boy for me and stay still-"

The sound of books falling onto the floor caused a large ruckus. My back crashed into the bookshelf and knocked a bunch of books over. Though, the shitty grin on my face still hasn't disappear yet. Or maybe because Levi was right there in front of me with a indescribable expression. Mortified will be a understatement, it's something way more exciting than whatever that was.

"Oh?" Quirking a brow, "So you could get out?"
Acting surprised, even though I already knew this would happen.

"Shut the fuck up." He hissed out, warping his hand around my throat, squeezing it. He glared at my incoming hand that was moving out to stop him. Holding his hand I moved it to the right position. "What the fuck-"

I shushed him with a smile, "See? Now you can really kill me now!" I boasted him. But I was kind of disappointed when he released some pressure from my throat. "Come-on Levi! I know you wanted to do it since the day I met you."

He looked away and stepped back, scrunching his hands up in a fist. His whole body shook with rage. I furrowed my brows, grabbing his wrist as I pinned him against the wall. Without hesitation I placed one of his hand onto my throat.

"FUCKING KILL ME THEN!"

"FUCK OFF!" He snatched his hand out of my hold, "AND GET THE FUCK OFF ME!"

He slapped me across the face. The tingling sensation of the slap could be felt. It stung very badly. But most importantly, I was stunned. Everything went stiff, like I was frozen in place, like I couldn't move. Not even a inch. Levi didn't even look back when he opened the door.

"I didn't like you from the start." He said under his breath, "I was just using you."

I glanced down at the ground, vision becoming blurry when the the door closed behind me. I gritted my teeth. The harsh reality of the situation finally dawned on me. Something clouded my mind, even as I felt agitated, it felt like something was crawling on my back, haunting me. In irritation I threw my fist at the wall. Blood oozed out and the skin of my knuckles were probably scratched up pretty badly based on the impact.

"Sergeant?" The door was open wide. Eren stood by the doorway with fear and confusion in his eyes. "Are you okay?"

I sighed, nodding my head as I invited him to come in. He entered slowly, being cautious since he had a feeling that something was going on. Concluding that Levi had fled like that because of this. Grabbing the white box from my shelf, I pulled out some bandages and started to patch my hand up with the white gauze before stuffing it back into the box.

"What do you need, Eren?"

"I um..." I could see that he was deciding if it was a good time to talk about whatever he had in mind. He shook his head as if he was telling me to forget about it. "Never mind...wait sergeant! Where are you going?"

I glanced at him from the corner of my eyes. My mouth was zipped shut, not planning on making any sounds. I reached for my coat that hanged from the hooks and threw it back as I slid my arms through the sleeves. Patting down the wrinkles and then I reached out to grab the keys on my table.

"I'm going to grab a drink." I mumbled out, "Lock the door behind you when you exit." I reminded him as I walked out of my office.

I didn't know what Eren was going to do. If he was actually going to remember to lock the door or not. But that didn't matter to me right now. I just wanted to lay back and forget everything that just happened. I wouldn't care if Eren managed to sniff out the important documents while he snoops through the paperwork on my desk. Though none of it was news that'll give away any government information.

Hands in my pockets, I took a quiet stroll outside of the castle. I didn't notice that I had ended up in front of my horse until it licked my hand. Craving my attention, unexpectedly I released a small chuckle. Opening the gate, I took him out. Fingers entangled in his black mane as I tried to comb it. Just to fail as it just got tangled even more.

"Remind me to get you a brush next time." I smiled feeling him lean into my touch. "How about we go see if a bar is open? What do you say?"

As if he understood the bad intentions I had for myself, he turned around to smack me with his tail. I frowned, swatting his tail away from my face.

Jumping onto him, I sat myself down on his saddle. My hands held on to his reins tightly, yanking it back so he could start galloping. The thing is...he didn't.

"Come'on boy! Let's go!" I plead with him, "I want to get wasted." Though he just responded to my plead with a curt neigh. Irking, I yanked the reins again, this time I did it harder. My stallion didn't want to move. Sighing, I gave in. "Ill get you something too."

And with that we started moving.

The wind blew my hair back, the smell of wood and the fresh green grass made it feel more releasing it already was. Sighing, I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. Petting my stallion as we rode closer to the inner cities to get some drinks.

"Hey? Did I ever name you?" I asked, like he would actually respond to me. "I guess I didn't...hmmm. What shall I name a beautiful horse like you?"

I crease his cheeks, petting him softly. Closing my eyes just to feel the wind brush my skin. Trying to clear my head, but his words were the only thing that I couldn't get out of my head. It kept repeating like a broken record. It wouldn't leave me alone, echoing throughout my head.

Releasing a loud sigh, I smacked my cheeks. The sting brought be back to the present. Looking down at the horse, I smiled, thinking that I finally found the name that fitted him the most.

"You're Ash." I blurted out. Only to smile when I heard a neigh of agreement. Chuckling, I ruffled his black mane. "I guess you like it don't you? I still remember the time I refused to name you because I thought you wouldn't be with me long enough." With my eyes closed, wind against my skin and feeling a small tug on my heart. My head felt a bit lighter . "I thought I wouldn't get attach to you."

"But now you're the only one I have that I can truly trust with my whole heart."

I had on a smile full of self pity, "You won't betray me too, right?"
