A sudden voice pulls Gutsy out of his stiffness. Gutsy looks up to see Sebastian.
Sebastian grips him by the arm pulling him up.
"The Gutsy I know never looks so defeated. It's not over yet."
"Yea, sorry you had to see me looking so pathetic."
Under the luminescent starry sky, Lucien blasts threw the bloody, mangled corpses to rip Sebastian's arm defending Gutsy. Lucien breathes fire at Gutsy and Sebastian fans it away with his wings.
Fuck, he got serious. If the slayer dies here, no one will be able to kill Lucien. I must make them retreat. Casey clenches her knife and pushes towards Leann.
Thud, Leann raises her fist to Casey and drops her to the ground.
I'm sorry, little girl. I need to draw their attention. Casey's silver eyes glow and her knife flies to stab Leann's chest. Scrappy quickly steps in front of her.
"Agh, try again." He coughs up blood, pulling the knife out his chest.
A distraught Leann drops her fist and Casey quickly zooms to her.
Poppy dashes with Renae on her back to blockade and bam, whoosh. The force of Casey's palm sends them back, Poppy's presses her heels into the ground and holds Renae to prevent them from going further. They rapidly strike her while Leann speeds up Scrappy's healing process. All the hunter's fire their guns at Casey when the girls aren't in the way, but she speedily dodges them and the girl's attacks.
Sebastian and Gutsy run at a wind defying speed trying to hit Lucien in unison. Swoosh, bam, they aim a punch in unison but when they collide with the transformed Lucien's fist, every bone in their arms crackle and pop. They leap backwards but Lucien chases them. Catching them in a second. When he moves all, you see is a ball of red light and the cemented ground caving in. The hunters quickly run from the falling ground as Casey chases after them.
Chop, Lucien brutalizes Sebastian's neck in a spin-kick making him fall down. Thump, Lucien continues to kick him until Gutsy swings his knife with one good arm at him.
"Ooo, I'm so scared," Lucien taunts. A huge tornado of fire leaving his mouth.
Sebastian quickly swoops Gutsy up into the air. Lucien jumps after them and slams them to the ground.
I'm sorry I have to do this, Casey apologizes in her mind as she turns into a giant and proceeds to stomp the hunters to death. Poppy quickly speeds most of them away and Leann floats the others away but as using her ability on so many people.
She's not able to use it on me.
Casey swoops Leann up in her enlarged palm.
"Noooo," her comrades shout.
"Slumber, slumber, slumber, ugh. It doesn't work when she's enlarged," Jun expresses worried. All the hunters shoot at her from the air, but it has no effect.
Crap, if I let go, they'll all drop to the ground.
Poppy and Renae rush towards them but Casey kicks them right in front of Lucien a good sum of meters away.
"Oh goodie, entertaining these weaklings I was getting hungry."
Lucien bites a chunk of flesh out of Poppy's neck.
"Aghhh," She screams in pain as Gutsy and Sebastian fly towards them.
"Leave them alone, you disgusting scum!" Gutsy and Sebastian roar desperately attacking. Lucien blocking every strike while squeezing Renae in the other. He had thrown Poppy to the ground, she was temporarily dead.
