Sebastian was never able to go to sleep with too many things on his mind. He paced back and forth in the hotel room until the crack of dawn. He quickly heads out and despite his orders to stay behind, Rosetta follows after him. But Sebastian doesn't feel like putting up a fight and just lets her.
The two reach the white house by taxi and is greeted with guns pointed at them.
"Woah, chill," Sebastian exclaims stepping in front of Rosetta and raises his hand up.
"I have to meet with the President."
"Name?" A man in a black suit asks coldly.
"Sebastian Rumuire."
Upon hearing the name, the guard speaks into a mic on his sleeve and him and the rest of the guards step aside as the gates open.
"You may enter."
"Uh, thanks."
Sebastian gulps before walking into the President's office, turns the knob and his red eyes meet silver eyes, and both go wide.
The woman's surprised face quickly changes into a welcoming grin.
"I heard the name and was suspicious because who would've thought my long-lost brother would come knocking on my front door."
"Hey, Arizona." Sebastian greets awkwardly scratching his head.
"Oh, who's this with you, big brother? Your kid?" Arizona asks curious.
"Definitely not," both Sebastian and Rosetta answer in unison
"Looks like we have some catching up to do."
She gestures for them to sit down with her midnight-skinned hand, and they sit down.
"Just to confirm, you're not going to kill me, right?"
Arizona chuckles at Sebastian's question.
"You wouldn't have come here if you truly thought that. We are not our father. His only want in life is chaos and destruction. The world will never know peace as long as he lives." Arizona expresses serious, pouring champagne in the glasses.
Rosetta quickly swipes one and sips it.
"Funny you mention peace" Rosetta interrupts twirling her glass. "Reforming the government and killing an evil bastard is good and all but what about childcare systems that don't help kids at all? What about people living in the street and having to do whatever it takes to survive. A lot of issues did come from the existence of vampires, and it's good dealing with that too but you shouldn't overlook the ones that don't have anything to do with them either."
Rosetta calmly demands before taking a sip of her glass again.
Both Arizona and Sebastian's face grow with sorrow.
"I apologize truly. I only became the President to rid my father's pawn and reduce the bloodshed. I'll admit I mainly was here to deal with vampires and protect people. I should've set a real example and help with the other problem's the world faces. I'm truly sorry. Anything I can help with right now, please ask of me." Arizona deeply expresses.
Rosetta wears a dumbstruck expression for a second.
"Wow, I wasn't expecting that. You 2 vamps aren't horrible so far. What I need right now? There's a couple people we have in a hotel right now that need homes."
"Ok easily done. Anything else."
"Maybe lower the cost of higher education."
"That's going to be impossible right now."
