As I was packing all my belongings into boxes, I was a bit sad about moving. I had a whole life in New York, but there wasn't really anyone here for me to stay for. Moving wasn't all a bad thing though. I've only lived in Brooklyn, New York. So, it would be nice to have a new place and make some new and actual friends. The one thing I cared about the most, was being with my two brothers, and my dad. My brothers will be with me, so you know it's gonna be fun.
I finished packing all of my stuff, and I smiled to myself.
I went downstairs to find my dad in the kitchen. "Hey dad, I finished packing," I said.
"Okay sweetie, go help your brother Leo." He replied. Sweetie was one of the nice names he calls me.
I ran back upstairs, into Leo's room. He was putting his shoes into a box.
"Dad told me to come help you pack. What d'ya need help with?" I said.
"You can shut up," he said jokingly. I laughed. "Kidding, put my clothes in the box."
"Please?" I jokingly said, judgingly looking him up and down.
"Pretty please!" he mocked in a high-pitched girl's voice. I laughed loudly.

Leo and I had finished packing his belongings. He began loading the moving truck with boxes. Jimmy and Leo would make jokes about me not being able to lift large boxes and needing help on occasion.
Next thing I know, we're in the car leaving New York. Everyone said their goodbyes. I only had a handful of people I said goodbye to. I dropped my fake friends that used me, which was basically all of them. I had a lot of people I talked to, but they weren't necessarily friends, just people I talked to every day. I had two really good friends, Valentina and Spencer. I met Spencer in grade school. I met Valentina from the gang we were in. I am really close to them. We had a lot of things in common.
We planned on driving halfway there, then staying at a cheap motel to get some rest.
Once we got into the motel, we all went to sleep from being tired. We woke up early so we could get into Tulsa before it got dark.
'Only ten more hours' I thought.
Driving with my family consisted of terrible singing, laughing, joking, and trying to get some sleep while my brothers mess with me.
Finally, after ten hours, we made it to Tulsa. A lot of the people I saw looked arrogant, with their tan-colored pants, salmon sweaters, and skirts. Yuck. At least have some fashion sense.
I was really into fashion and loved it. I'm not a fan of dresses and skirts, but I'll wear them occasionally. I'm more of a jeans and a tank top kinda gal, or sweatshirt and shorts. Basically, streetwear style was my favorite.
The more we drove into town, the more run down and "poor-er" it looked. I liked it. It was still different from New York, but it'll do. I took note of a lot of things in the area, analyzing everything that came into sight. I like to know my surroundings, and if I don't, I don't feel safe.
"Hey, didn't Tim say sum 'bout being in Tulsa?" I asked, remembering a conversation I had with Tim Shepard. He was an old buddy of mine.
"Yeah, I think he did," Jimmy replied.
I think I'm already liking Tulsa
We drove into a neighborhood with cute little houses. The houses were mostly run-down and had chipped paint and old cars. I am used to having a neighbor connected to my building, but I think having a small house would be nice.
