First sight

" All right so how do I build new rooms? " " Well the first thing you do is you can clearly see your core, imagine you are inside of your core imagine what the inside would be like you can be anything you would want to imagine but imagine yourself inside of it. Once you have a room or building or something else envisioned think core interface." Xander thought very carefully then imagined a tall brick three story house he didn't know why he imagined it, it was so familiar it just seemed like it was right every room was furnished with pictures and furniture. Some of the pictures had an middle-aged man in it that also seemed familiar he stood with a middle-aged woman and a young teenage girl that were with a little boy, they all seemed vaguely familiar. He shook the familiarity out of his head he would think about it later, quickly thought core interface and saw so much he struggled to comprehend it all. There was his available power out of his total power, what the power was being used for, a top-down view of his dungeon and what else was available to build. Xanders selected the laboratory from the list of things he could build. Then he placed it next to the cafeteria and watched as it came into being the floor and the walls formed first slowly sliding up and taking shape the walls white just like the rest of his rooms.
The floor a white expanse with no seams or breaks the ceiling formed with spherical lights that were a bright white brighter than the rest of his dungeon, which was lit with the same spheres but it was kind of a dim light it made the corners hard to see in some rooms. This room however was bright shadows couldn't hide in the corners. After the lights formed tables rose up and computers against the wall with desks and chairs in other words a proper laboratory, the tables were covered with beakers, microscopes, test tubes, and other various laboratory effects. "Ok so you have the ability to make mini-bosses as well, every level you upgrade the power control you get a mini-boss every two you get a boss." Ok what are you suggesting here?" Well a lot of dungeons make a lab boss something along the lines of a mad scientist that does things like throw poisonous beakers off the tables and use some crazy weapon like a plasma flamethrower or some ridiculous things like that." "Well I don't want to be like everybody else. So I guess I'll just wait to make a mini boss until I figure out what I want to make." Xander focused on the room he wanted to make next. It was right after the laboratory you actually had to go through the lab to get to the new room. Xander imagines the walls rising into place as he did they popped into existence white  walls formed a decent size room and as he watched computer consoles rose up into being. As an aside he added a small janitor's closet to the side of the room. Xander surveyed the two new rooms and decided to change the layout a little he pulled the control room back next to the coreroom like it was originally he placed the lab next to the mess hall and the new sensor array beyond that. The janitor's closet was in the sensor array and the control room was last, right before the coreroom. Xander decided now is the time to mess with minions. He was in a rush earlier but realized now that that he was looking that was a limit to his minion count. It was only fifteen plus his boss and mini boss. Xander was hoping to find away around that but he figured he would find out. He started at the entrance the first room had a single tiefling in it behind a desk facing the docking entrance. The next room, the mess hall had two long tables and a small cooking area in the corner three tieflings would sit randomly at the two tables, the room after that was the lab there was one long table up against the wall and three tables spread throughout the room, it was a somewhat small room on top of the tables were vials and beakers full of various different colored liquids some of which boiled and steamed. Xander added three tieflings to the room unlike the other tieflings who had on dark overalls these ones had lab coats and respirators on. Xander moved onto the next room which was the sensory array, it was full of computers but it also had a janitor's room off to the side. Xander thought carefully then smiled with amusement."hey Zenith can you upgrade a mini boss into a boss? "Yes all you have to do is focus on them and think upgrade. Why do you have a idea for a better mini boss?" "Yes I do I think you'll be quite amused, hopefully any Invaders will be not as amused." Xander focused on his security mini boss who was in his control room right outside his core room and thought upgrade instantly the security mini boss grew larger and riot armor appeared on him, a large security desk with several chairs also appeared in front of him and two new security tieflings appeared sitting in the chairs, lastly a golden name appeared above his head, Chief Donahue. None of the three counted towards his total unit count. Xander looked back over his sensor room and decided to put four tieflings they sat down in front of computers. Xander was suddenly smashed with a terrible pain it was like chisels were grinding against his core, but he could see it was amazing Xander now had a view outside his station right now all he could see was stars. " Once you upgrade the room you will be able to see farther the stars are misleading you can only see about 600 yards away which isn't much." What was that pain I felt?!" Sometimes when you upgrade your core isn't good enough to handle the strain so it gets upgraded as well, it might cause some pain when ever it happens." Xander mentally pushed it aside and focused on the task at hand. He placed four tieflings in the control room which hit he control limit, but he still had a mini-boss to make Xander focused on the janitor's closet and with a amused smile formed a janitor mini-boss a cleaning bucket formed next to him with lava boiling in it, a flamethrower formed on his back which he started using to aggressively clean the walls, and over his head formed in silvery letters Mr. Jerkins. Xander grinned as finally his first floor was complete.
