Clay's POV

I was checking my bags as I was waiting for Sapnap to bring us to school. We would continue by bus and then cross the sea by boat to get to France. I was really excited and looked in my bag once more.

It seemed like I had everything my mum put on a small list for me and I ran downstairs, greeting her. She smiled at me and handed me a sandwich she had made for me. 'Don't forget to eat, sweetie.'

I nodded and took a bite of my sandwich as I stood in front of the window.

'Are you excited?'

I nodded heavily. 'I can't wait, although we will arrive at the right place in the evening. Then I'll probably go straight to bed.'

My mum nodded. 'I understand. Are you going to be safe?'

I nodded. 'I will be safe, mum. Don't worry, I'll be back soon.'

'Do you want to call or text me every day?'

'I will,' I smiled. I kissed my mum's cheek and looked outside. 'Sapnap!'

'Okay, honey. Can I get a hug?'

I smiled and nodded as I gave my mum a tight hug. She helped me carry my bags to the car and stuffed them in the back of it. She hugged me one more time, kissing my cheek and let me go in the car as she stood there to wave at me.

'Yo, Clay!' Sapnap said happily as soon as the car started and I couldn't see my mum anymore.

'Hi,' I smiled, sitting back. I greeted his dad after that and looked outside to see the avenue where I lived pass by slowly. I looked back at Sapnap and smiled.

'I'm excited,' I smiled. 'Since my dad left, I haven't really been abroad, we've always stayed in England together.'

Sapnap smiled. 'I understand, it's nice to be out of here for a bit, isn't it?'

I nodded. 'I'm already exhausted,' I giggled. 'This is going to be fun.'

Sapnap nodded. 'Bad night of sleep?'

'Yeah, I was so excited that I couldn't fall asleep.'

Sapnap grinned and sat back in his seat as we both looked outside. We would just be driving to school and from there we would take the bus. I grabbed my phone to quickly tell Gogy I was leaving now. Since he was just as old as me, he was also going to a camp. Most schools organised a camp around this time.

Dream
Good luck, Gogy. I know you don't really like being away from home, but it's over faster than you expect it to be. You can always text me <3

He replied immediately and I smiled.

Gogy
Thank you <3 good luck to you too!

Dream
Thank you :) are you going to try to make this day one of being clean?

Gogy
I will, I probably won't have time for it anyway since we are traveling all day.

Dream
Okay, I'm glad <3 text me when you feel the urge to. Then I'll just go to the bathroom or something so no one can see.

Gogy
Okay, I love you

Dream
I love you too, I'm at school now. Bye <3

Gogy
Bye <3

I closed my phone and looked up as Sapnap's dad stopped the car. I thanked him for driving me and stepped out after, walking to the rest of the group with Sapnap. I wasn't really paying attention as I was thinking about Gogy.

For some reason I always felt happier when I was talking to him, he was really special to me. I smiled as I thought about him and looked back up at the teacher. She yelled everyone's name to check if they were here yet and it appeared that we were only waiting for George, as usual.

I sighed and rolled my eyes, looking at Sapnap. 'I'm so sick of that idiot, he's always annoying.'

'Clay, I don't know why you hate him so much, but he hasn't done anything wrong.'

'He's just dumb.'

'He's pretty smart, he gets the highest grades.'

'That's just because he studies all day. He's such a nerd.'

'He has never said anything bad to you, just keep your mouth shut.'

'I hate him, everything he does is annoying. He doesn't have friends for a reason.'

'He's trying to get some friends, but he got too scared of you.'

'Such a pussy.'

'Clay, stop. He hasn't done anything wrong and you should be the one to stop this.'

'I don't like him and I will never like him. I swear, I'd rather die than like him. Not even as friends.'

Sapnap ignored my comment and looked behind him to see George walking slowly. 'Hi, George!' Sapnap greeted him.

George was a bit surprised by someone talking to him and smiled. 'H-hi.'

'Come, you can stand here.'

George nodded slowly and stood next to Sapnap. He was so much shorter than Sapnap and for some reason even that annoyed me. George looked at me shortly and smiled, but I gave him a gross look back. 'Don't look at me, dumbass.'

'S-sorry.'

I looked at the teacher again and she pointed at the bus coming closer. 'Everyone is sitting next to the person they also share a room with. If you forgot, I'll quickly read them again.'

'No way I'm sitting next to George. I want to have a fun drive.'

'Too bad for you, Clay. You're sitting next to George and you're the one who can make it fun.'

'I can't have fun with that dumbass.'

'Watch your language or I'll send you home immediately. If you say anything mean to George again, you're right back in the car to go home. And I'm not even kidding, I don't want rude people with me on this camp.'

I sighed exaggeratedly and turned around at George. 'I actually despise you,' I whispered as I walked to the bus, sitting down in it.

George sat down next to me slowly and looked at me. 'Can we maybe sit in the front? I'm motion sick.'

I sighed deeply, said nothing and threw my bags to the front of the bus to sit down again. George sat next to me and smiled. 'Thank you.'

'Just shut up.'

'Okay, I'm sorry.'
