Summary: Noah finds out his son is a lot more special than he thought.
===========================================================================
Noah Stilinski has always been a light sleeper. No matter how tired he was or how many hours he's been sleeping, he always woke up at the tiniest things. That was why when his son was only a few months old he was almost always the first one to wake up in the middle of the night to tend to him. Before his wife died, it was the sound of her walking to the kitchen because she couldn't sleep that woke him up.
This time it was his son's scream of terror that woke him up.
Noah immediately shot out of bed grabbing the gun he kept in his bedside drawer and ran to his son's room across the hall.
"Stiles!"
He pushed open his son's door, his police instincts leading him to prepare for the worst. However, when he turned on the light, there was no perpetrator in his son's room, no sign that his little boy fell from the bed and hurt himself. Instead, his son was crying and wailing holding onto his blanket as if it could protect him from whatever it was that scared him.
Relieved that his son was safe and most likely just woke up from a nightmare, Noah put the safety back on his gun and carefully placed it on his son's dresser before going to the crying child.
"Shh shh, it's okay son." He said holding his son and giving him all the comfort he could provide, "It was just a nightmare."
"Daddy!" Stiles cried, "They hurt her! Daddy she's crying."
Noah tensed thinking that his son had a nightmare about Claudia. The night before Claudia died, Stiles had a nightmare and behaved almost exactly like he was right now.
"Daddy help her."
Noah fought tears as he held his son tighter and tried not to think about his late wife.
"Shh Stiles it's okay. Mommy's okay now."
"No daddy, not mommy." Stiles vigorously shook his head and looked at his father's eyes. "It's Cora and her family. They're going to burn daddy. You have to stop it."
Noah frowned. He didn't know what his son was talking about. He was sure Stiles was just remembering a nightmare about his little friend Cora. But the terror in his son's eyes was so real, so vivid that it effectively terrified him.
"Son it was just a nightmare. Nobody's..."
"No daddy it was real! I saw it." The little boy then stood up and grabbed a piece of paper and crayon on his study table.
Noah watched his son draw something on the paper and couldn't help but remember the first time this happened. He had just finished his shift at the station and was on his way to the hospital when his babysitter called. She said Stiles was crying and asking for him so she put him on the phone. He listened to his son tell him between sobs that Claudia was going away. That she was going away right now and he needed to take them both to the hospital to stop her from leaving. He thought Stiles was just scared, that he just had a nightmare so he just calmed him down and told him Claudia would be fine. By the time he got to the hospital, Claudia was gone and the doctors told him she died at 10:33 pm. He checked his phone, Stiles' call happened 10:15pm.
After that, Stiles often said things that for some reason came true. He predicted the winner of the game shows they watched, the kind of muffins Mrs. Lee would bake and share with them, even the exact score he got for the aptitude test he took.
Noah brushed those aside, claiming them all to be coincidences, but deep down some part of him believed his son really knew about those things before they happened. Now, that part of him seemed to grow as he listened to his son tell him about Cora Hale's family being in danger.
"Here daddy." Stiles showed his finished drawing to him. It was a wolf of some kind in a shield, almost looked like a coat of arms.
"The bad lady who wants to hurt Cora has this around her neck."
Frowning, Noah looked between his boy and the drawing in his hand. Logically, he knew Stiles must have just had a nightmare. Nothing serious and certainly nothing that meant the Hale family were in danger.
But...
But the last time he ignored Stiles' warning, his wife died alone in the hospital.
"Please daddy, you have to save her."
Stiles' pleading was the last straw and Noah picked up the phone and called Talia Hale.
OoOoO
The next day, the Stilinski household welcomed the entire Hale extended family after barely escaping the fire and Noah Stilinski discovered more than he ever wanted to know about the Supernatural and his son's role in it.

TW Confession: I consider Theo to be the most effective villain of the show simply because he was the only one that was able to break up the Pack. Gerard and even Deucalion couldn't manage that.
