"Alright, Libby. Use Swift!" I cried.

Libby jumped up and whipped her tail, only to have stars come out of it. The attack made direct contact with the tree we were training with.

It's been a week since I left home, and Libby and I have been training ever since. If I'm going to catch Dragon-type Pokémon, Libby and I need to be strong enough to catch them, let alone battle them...

"Great job, Libby," I applauded, "Now, use Shadow Ball!"

Libby opened her mouth and hurled a shadowy blob at the tree.

"Great! Now, use Hidden Power!" I cried.

Libby uttered a violent cry and hurled multiple glowing orbs at the tree.

"Yes! Quick Attack, let's go!" I commanded.

Libby stepped back and then started sprinting towards the tree at amazing speed. Once she came in contact with it, the tree fell over. Libby stepped back and let out a happy cry.

"Way to go, Libby!" I said happily, "You're definitely getting stronger!"

Libby smiled and chirped out a cry, all while wagging her tail. I chuckled and sat down on the grass. I sighed and tilted my head back to look at the brilliant blue sky. Libby sprinted over and laid down on my lap. I smiled and ran my fingers through the brown fur.

The way I see it, Libby will be stronger than any Dragon-type by the time we meet one.

I breathed out a heavy sigh and laid back into the grass, the breeze making my hair, Libby's fur, and the grass around us dance and flutter.

This is so relaxing...

I looked down at Libby to see her sleeping on my chest. Her little face made me smile. Carefully picking Libby up, I sat and placed her on my lap.

"We should start heading to the next town," I said to myself, "There are some things I need to stock up on."

Grabbing my bag, I stood up with Libby in my arms. My movement awakened the small Pokémon, and she let out a small yawn.

"Hello, little one," I said, "Hang on, we're going for a ride."

Libby nodded and rested on my shoulder. I smiled and started walking away from our training spot. When we got to the nearest town, Kiloway Town, it was bustling with life. The buildings, white and blue, matched the ocean and foam. Water-type Pokémon from all over the world could be seen: Vaporeon, Poliwhirl, Totodile, and so many more.

The ocean breeze feels amazing! Ah, I love the sea...

Libby hopped off my shoulder with a happy cry and started interacting with the other Pokémon around her. I smiled as she bounced happily around a Vaporeon. The Vaporeon smiled and wagged its fish-like tail.

"Come on, Libby!" I called, "Don't want you getting lost!"

Libby chirped her cry and started walking beside me. Once we reached the Pokémon Center, Libby and I was welcomed by Nurse Joy and her Chansey.

"Welcome to the Pokémon Center!" Nurse Joy said happily.

"Hello! Do you think you can do a check-up on my Eevee?" I asked.

When I said that, Libby hopped on the counter in front of Nurse Joy.

"Of course! One moment, please." Nurse Joy said, picking up Libby.

I watched as Nurse Joy and Chansey disappeared into the back of the center.

Now, let's see what I can buy from the Poké Mart.
