"So, how long have you kids been on the road?" Caps asked.

"A month at most," Nina said, "Maybe a month and a half?"

"We've been together for quite some time," I said, "We've encountered many faces, both good and bad."

"How bad?"

The six of us glanced at one another with a look of uncertainty.

"There's this evil organization here in Ezonia called Team Xenon," I said, "Their goal is to liberate Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution to use and control them to take over the world."

Caps' eyes widened.

"That's horrible!" he said, "Forcing Pokémon to mega evolve is unimaginable."

"Yeah..." Rina said softly.

I looked over at my friends before looking away.

Team Xenon cannot continue their antics. It's getting way too out of hand.

"So, what's it like? The view from Mount Haven?" Caps asked.

"It's breathtaking!" Kat said, "There's a small town called Strato Town built within the mountain."

"The last time we were there was for their annual Sky Festival." Eric said.

"That sounds like a lot of fun!" Elsu said.

"It was," Nina said, "We rode Pokémon, watched wild sky battles, and even participated in their Sky Race."

"I had won with my Swablu, who then evolved into an Altaria." I said.

Caps smiled and chuckled.

"You've all certainly been through a lot, the four of you." Caps said.

Kat, Eric, Nina, and I glanced at one another and smiled.

He's right. We have been through a lot, and I know we're going to go through a lot more as time goes on.

"So, how much longer until we get to Strato Town?" Caps asked.

"We're almost to the cable car that'll take us up Mount Haven and to Strato Town." Nina said.

I looked up and saw Mount Haven in the distance. Then, an idea popped into my head.

"I know a faster way to scale Mount Haven." I said, stopping in my tracks.

"What did you have in mind, Era?" Kat asked.

I grinned as I pulled out two Pokéballs.

"Jet and Charcoal, come on out!" I cried.

At my command, my Garchomp and Charizard appeared.

"Why don't we ride Jet and Charcoal to the top!" I suggested.

"Now that's a smart idea!" Eric said.

Caps chuckled before tossing a Pokéball.

"Magnezone!" he said.

Like clockwork, Caps' Magnezone appeared.

"Magnezone here can carry three people," Caps said, "Rina and Elsu could accompany me if you would like,"

"Sure!" Elsu said.

"Um, is it safe...?" Rina questioned.

"It's safe. I give you my word, Rina. Right, Magnezone?"

The Magnet Area Pokémon warbled out a cry. Rina breathed out a heavy sigh before climbing onto Magnezone's dome. Elsu grinned and did the same, sitting down next to his pink-haired friend.
