"So, what do you think our eggs will hatch into?" Nina asked.

"I don't know, to be honest. Whatever they'll be, I know we'll take good care of them, right guys?" I asked.

My friends all nodded with smiles.

"Where are we headed now?" Eric asked.

"Well, down this road, Grasmere Town should be just up ahead, right, Nina?" I questioned, looking at the redhead.

"Yup! Grasmere Town may not look like much, but it's a really cozy little town," Nina replied, "It's known for being very floral if I recall. A lot of east Ezonia's produce comes from Grasmere Town's farms."

I nodded with an agreeing grin.

"Yeah, I remember now. My grandma calls it a mini-Alola since all their food is fresh like the food in the Alola region," I chuckled, "Their berries are very sweet and always ripe."

"Ooh! Can't wait to try one." Eric exclaimed happily.

"Same!" Kat said.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Nina said, skipping ahead.

Kat, Eric, and I laughed at the redhead's excitement and raced after her.

I don't think I've ever been to Grasmere Town. I remember Grandma Eli always going there to get some berries, but I don't think I've ever been... Wonder what it looks like...?

Coming up on the town, I could see many hanging plants and flowers on the town's archway.

Nina wasn't kidding when she said this place was floral.

"You've been here before, Nina?" Eric asked, walking at her pace.

"A couple of times. I'd normally come with my mom when she would get berries and other products for herself and her Pokémon," Nina explained, "Like I said, nothing really happens in this here. Just a quiet, little market town."

Once the four of us stepped through the archway, confetti, and flower petals exploded next to us, causing us to flinch. Then, a man dressed in a fine suit appeared.

"Congratulations! You guys have just been awarded free Pokémon Lottery tickets!" he said.

A brown-haired woman with hazel eyes and fair skin, wearing a red dress, walked up to us and handed us colorful tickets. The ticket was pink and blue, black on the left side, and metallic copper letters.

"Quiet, little town, Nina?" I asked, glancing at the redhead with a grin.

"How was I supposed to know?" Nina asked.

Sure...

I fondly rolled my eyes before turning back to the man and woman.

"What do we do with these?" Eric asked.

"With these tickets, you are eligible to compete in the four-day Lottery Challenge!" the man said, "Each day, there will be a lottery where you can win fabulous prizes. There will be one winner every day, so you have a chance to win one day every day!"

"That actually sounds fun!" Kat said.

The others nodded in agreement.

"What are the lotteries for each day?" I asked.

"That's a surprise, sweetpea," the woman said, "You'll just have to wait and see."

I turned to my friends with a wide grin on my face. They wore the same expression.

This could be a great way to pass the time, and just like Kat said, it sounds fun!

"The Lottery Challenge will begin tomorrow afternoon, so you four will be staying in a lovely inn during the challenge," the man said, "Follow us!"
