Alura was packing for Christmas break when Hermione ran into her dorm. Alura was confused because everyone would be leaving in a few minutes. She turned to face Hermione.
"I'm glad I caught you!" Hermione panted. "Harry needs your help."
"How'd you find my new dorm?"
"Not important. I mean, he's gone mental!"
"And you just figured this out?"
"Alura! Harry started a fire in the boys' dormitories!"
Alura gasped. "What? Why?"
"I think it had something to do with you... I'm not sure." She tucked her hair behind her ear. "I'm just saying to talk to him during Christmas break."
"You're out of luck. I'm not staying at the Grimmauld Place."
"You're not? Why?" When she noticed Alura's numb expression, she came to a realization. "Oh... Harry, right. Sorry."
"It's okay." She turned back around to continue packing.
"If you don't mind me asking, where are you staying?"
"Here. With Katerina and Theo."
"And you're packing... why?"
"I was going home but then changed my mind last minute."
"Have a nice Christmas, Alura." Hermione smiled and backed out of the room.
Alura sighed and started debating if she should put Harry's Christmas gift in there. No matter how angry at each other they were, they always got each other gifts for birthdays or Christmas's. She hesitantly dropped it in there.
Minutes later, someone knocked on the door. Alura asked who it was and got no response. She then opened the door to see Harry standing there.
"How'd you find my new dorm?"
"Hermione can't keep a secret for her life." He invited himself inside.
"What do you want?"
"Alura, you can't stay here for Christmas break."
"I can stay wherever the hell I want," she raised her voice a little.
"You should be with family."
"And what? That's you?" she scoffed, but then realized what she just said. "I didn't mean..."
"You know, Alura, I know why you hate me, I do, but I've always considered you family." He began walking out, but Alura grabbed his hand, pulling him back. (Do you get deja vuuuu)
Their faces were now inches apart. She could feel his minty breath surfacing.
"Don't leave me," she demanded, her voice barely above a whisper. (DEJA VU)
"We've been in this position, haven't we?" Harry chuckled lightly.
Alura stepped closer. If she were to lean in an inch, they would be kissing.
"I suppose we have."
She was no longer grabbing his hand, she was holding it, and he let her.
"We should stop, shouldn't we?" Harry forced himself to say, but he knew that he wouldn't stop this for the world.
"Yeah..." she whispered and quickly backed away.
Harry was disappointed, but he knew that he'd regret what was about to happen.
"Sorry, that was-"
"No, it's fine," Harry interrupted her. "That was a mistake."
Now it was Alura's turn to be disappointed. The closest she had been to another boy since Cedric was Blaise and Theo, but now it was Harry.
