ALURA's POV

Harry and I had just arrived at Grimmauld Place when we're attacked by a dog, and no, it was not Sirius. The dog jumped on Harry and licked him on his neck, which he makes a disgusted face while pushing the dog off.

Sirius and Stefan run into the living room panting. Sirius has a leash in his hand and Stefan has a collar in his.

I look back down at the dog, and Harry is crouched next to it. He seemed to have calmed it down.

"Why is there a dog in the living room?" Harry asked.

"We weren't expecting you for at least another hour!" Stefan exclaimed. "It was a part of your Christmas gift, but it's not so much of a surprise anymore."

"Why'd you tell them?" Sirius turns to Stefan. "I could've made an excuse!"

"Well, it's too late now, isn't it?" Stefan placed his hands on his hips and dipped his head down.

"Wait, why are you two here this early anyway?" Sirius questioned.

Harry stood back up and looked at me as if I could come up with something on the spot.

"Well?" Stefan rushed.

"Isn't it obvious they got expelled?"

"Okay, we did not get expelled!" Harry argued. "We just... got in trouble..."

Sirius shook his head. "What did you two do?"

I held up my hands in defense. "Me? I didn't do anything. Harry, on the other hand..." I give a big fake smile to him.

Sirius furrowed his brows. "My mind is going somewhere else. Are you two having sex? If so, we need to have a sit-down-"

"Sirius, I'm not drunk enough for this conversation," Stefan declared before walking off into the kitchen, likely to pour a drink.

Sirius turns his attention back to us. "Well? Are you?"

"We're not," Harry said almost immediately.

"You got suspended because of the fire, didn't you?" he assumed. "The school sent a letter to everyone's guardians. We didn't think you'd ever do a thing until now."

"Well, I didn't do anything," I defend. "So I will be on my way-" I pick up my trunk and begin walking up the steps, but I'm stopped by Sirius.

"Not so fast."

I liked him a lot better when he encouraged this behavior.

"How did you get suspended if you didn't start the fire."

I turned back around and shrugged. "We both took the blame for it."

I went back upstairs to my room which I didn't realize I missed so much.

I remember when Harry and I were fighting over this room. We both wanted the bay window, and we both wanted the balcony - which is in Harry's room. We fought until we made a truce: Harry could use my bay window whenever he wanted, and I could use his balcony whenever I wanted.
