Living on the outskirts of the forest had its perks and downfalls. Everyday you were woken by the songs of hundreds of birds and at night you had your personal lullaby of Secadas and owls to guild you to sleep. It was a relatively peaceful life and you enjoyed it. In the mornings you could watch a beautiful sunrise chasing after the powerful eagles that lived near by and at night the owls would chase the moon, rinse and repeat, until it wasn't.

Maybe if you hadn't been such an animal lover,you wouldn't have found yourself trapped in the center of the forest with no way of getting help.

"This is my prey,night flyer, find a different one" The one on the left said his feathers were bristled and his talons were looking to sink into something, most likely the owl hybrid in front of him.

"Do you not realize your in our territory? Sun flyer" the other one,hidden in the trees shadow mocked. Due to the sack-like trap you could just barely see the two men arguing in another language. Maybe if you stayed still they'd fight and go somewhere else? During your time living here you noticed how aggressive the birds of the forest were, guess that went for hybrids too.

"I did not, this trap is in our territory, that Mark in the oak tree says so clearly!"

"That mark has long since faded! And you damn well know it!" The other man snapped.

You wondered what they were saying to each other,you couldn't speak...whatever language? Chirp? They were speaking in.

"You sure you want to try those dull nails you call 'talons' out? You're no fighter, Eli, iv seen you fight,you can't even take down a bear"

There was a low growl, were they making low blows at each other? Huh guess somethings never changed between men.

"And I recall you getting stuck under a Boulder and nearly dying of dehydration, didn't that human female end up saving you?" There was a mocking hoot that sounded a bit too human and a little too familiar, but since you were inside a bag or whatever you were trapped in, you couldn't really tell.

"No wonder most of forest hates your kind, all you owls know is to stalk and gossip, I can't understand how your kind even holds a candle to us"

"Oh yes the 'might eagle warriors' so brave! Your defending the forest from the occasional hunter and poacher,so very honorable, The forest hasn't needed your people in decades, stop living in old glory and move on!"

'My neck is starting to hurt and I'm pretty sure there's a stick poking me in my butt' you shifted a bit to get more comfortable only for some very,very! Sharp talons to pierce the bag and your hip,"!" You'd let out a yelp in surprise and pain.

"Im surprise you didn't maul your prey the moment you caught it,Naib, do you plan on giving it an actual merciful death this time?"

"Just like that human female from the outskirts should have done to Brooke?"

There was another snarle,Oh that must have touched a nerve," listen, before we maul each other let's just see what's in the sack, it might not even be worth the trouble"

"You seem to think highly of yourself,Eli, be careful, that pride will get you killed" that's when the sack was ripped open by the very talons that stabbed you from before.

Sitting up you blinked at the two hybrids standing over you. Oh! You knew these two! Last month after a earthquake you'd helped this blue feathered hybrid free his trapped wing a while ago.
