Naib looked at the small pile of feathers on the ground near the tree he usually perched in. That bastard owl had been sniffing around you it seemed. Naib wouldn't be one-uped like that! He'd  brough you an entire deer! Even if Eli tried to pursue you it didn't matter because he was going show you just how good of a provider he was AND show you his amazing hunting skills! Then Naib was going to impress you with his signature mating dance and swoop you off your feet!

Eventually, he was still working on his dance. Naibs captain had told him that the first dance was always important and that you couldn't mess up! Not even once! He hated to admit it to himself but he wanted to impress you and he really didn't want to fuck up.

So while he was on break,he'd come and visit you, it was 'late' in the morning, well late to him but apparently humans woke up around 6 am instead 1 am, which was weird but humans were strange animals.

He could see that the deer was still there,strange why hadn't you eaten it yet? It wasn't sick when he killed it maybe you'd found something infectious within it?
In one giant leap he quietly landed on your back porch.

'Should I have brought something? Maybe a rabbit?' He wasn't very educated on human traditions. Naib did know that human males would preen themselves to appear more attractive to potential mates. Looking in the window he pulled leafs and the occasional stick out of his hair and feathers. He didn't have any bugs did he? He double checked and confirmed that no bugs had flew into his hair,'Should I knock? That's the polite thing to do right?' He knocked but received no response.

He knocked louder this time and waited....still no answer. Where you hurt? Had a bear gotten Inside your home?! They had a tendency to climb up to day flyer nests and steal eggs so it was a possibility. You had no weapons strong enough to tear into a bears fur! Or maybe another human had broken into your home? All these horrible thoughts clouded his mind and he was close to just punching the glass again to get inside.

That's when the door finally opened Naib look into your home,everything was in order but who had-

"....Are you a bird-man?" A little olive skin toned child looked up at him. She had her hair pulled into two massive mini afro puff and had on a oversized night gown.

"....nagh?" Naib croaked out confused, had you already mated?! There was no way that was possible! This human child was way too old to be yours. But he had to be sure that filthy night flyer hadn't gotten his hands on you yet! He leaned down and sniffed her to which she grabbed his head piece and tugged it off. He didn't mind her investigating him.

"Woahhh" She placed the Armour on her head, the weight made her head veer to the left and right,"Ack!"

Naib let out a few chirps and steadied her,'Careful' His head snapped up when he heard another person feet hit the floor.

"Amary? What are you doing up so er-" Naib immediately walked over to you, chirping and clicking his tongue excitedly.

'I knew it,you both smell completely different! There's not way-!?'

"What are you doing in my house?! Amary come here!"

"But look at this cool hat!" She ran up to you and offered what was clearly the hybrids Armour.

"Thats very nice but you shouldn't open the door unless I say so! It's dangerous!" You scolded her, she was 10 she should have known better by now!

"Sorry," she visible deflated as you took the helmet,"and you, I do remember you but you can't just show up uninvited at," you checked the wall clock," Five in the morning! Especially on weekend! It's very rude you know?"
