Time,it was something he had plenty of. Down where no creatures dare lurked he observed the fragile mammles of the surface. His reach touched all corners of this village, there was nothing he couldn't see.

The humans, they were simple creatures, the woke,eat, obtained trading goods,ate again, returned to their nests ate once more,cleaned themselves then slept. It was a cycle that every human did once they became of age. It was something he was getting a bit...bored of. It was becoming tedious and so he looked to the witch and with a wicked grin from her began searching for a test subject. He pityed the poor mammle that would be succumb to his experiment.

"Why don't you just go ask him out" Hiko asked. She was a short Asian girl, about 18 and worked at her parent's restaurant.

"Hiko! Don't startle me like that!" You jumped,she'd scared you out of your staring,"and I'm not going to ask him out!"

"You should,he's hot"

"And he's probably too old for you! Stop staring!" You tugged her away from floor and back to the register and counter to fix more drinks,"besides he probably already has someone" you sighed. From the moment his hard hat clanket agaisnt the metal door frame you'd been very much enamored with him. He had tan skin, dark black eyes and even blacker curly hair that was usually flatten due to his hat. By his uniform you could tell he was miner and by those muscles, oh goodness his muscles! He could probably pick you up no problem!

Would it be weird if you asked him to pick you up? Yeah that would totally be weird...he had a handsome face. Sometimes he'd come in with a bit of stubble on his chin more but he never let it grow into a full beard.

"I'll ask him out for you if you want"

"Hmmm" you sighed,mind off in lala land,"yeah sure me too" He really was handsome, the way his shirt strained to hold his pectorals, good God almighty it was a treat for the eyes! You'd do anything for that stupid shirt to finally pop and- "Wait Hiko?! Getbackhere-" you whisper yelled but she was already talking to the man.

You could see her talking then point to you and the miner turned his head to you and you panicked and tried to look busy only to knock a cup of water down.

"Wah! My socks!!" You yelped and jumped back,rushing to get the mop and a new cup.

'Get it together! We cannot afford to stare at hot miners all day!'  Getting the new cups of water you brought them out the small family of 3.

"Hi,sorry about the wait,butter fingers are a real pain!"

The father snorted," don't I know it,that little monster right there dropped an entire container of cinnamon last night"

"Dad please," the daughter groaned embarrassed,"Let me live it down"

"Absolutely not"

You laughed and made sure everyone had their drinks and food then turned to head back into the kitchen. When you looked around you noticed that the miner had left.

'Aw,I guess he had to go...or maybe Hiko made me sound like some creepy stalker! I swear Hiko I'll get you for this!' You vowed, she was sweet but boy was she nosy! Always wanting to hear about some kind of drama or other! Her mother Xinjiang, was always trying to get Hiko to...well not gossip but it never worked and-
