part 21

Steve and i have been living together in this house for 2 weeks now.
Our relationship is going great, we love each other so much and i can't lie, the sex is amazing.
We work on my powers every day and i got better at controlling them. Everything is perfect but i can't stop thinking about the court hearing in a week.
I promised Bucky i will go but seeing everyone again will be tough but i will definitely not let others go to jail because of me.
What if they sentence Thor? No way am i allowing that, i will just speak the truth.

Today was a special day, Bruce was coming to visit.
I got up at 6 am and started making a big breakfast for all three of us, "That smells amazing" i hear Steve say in his raspy morning voice, he placed his hands around my waist as i was making omelettes.
"Good morning baby, Bruce texted me he will be here in 10 minutes."

"Perfect!" I say and give Steve a kiss.
I start setting the table and while i was doing that i heard a loud knock on the door, "Police, open the door."
We both stopped.
I give Steve a confused look while i was walking over to the door. I open it and 4 police officers were standing in front of me, "Are you Y/N Y/L/N?"
asks the female officer.

"Uhm yes." i mumble out of panic.

"You are officially arrested for murder on Thomas Hargreaves and abduction and attempted murder on Steven G. Rogers" she says as two male officers handcuff me and take me away.

"What? I wasn't abducted? Who made this happen?"
Steve shouts but no one replies. "Officers! I am Steve Rogers. I wasn't abducted or murdered. Why are you arresting her?"

I was sat into the car and i just couldn't handle the situation, i wasn't crying. I was just in shock.
Bruce just got to the house as i was forced into the car and his facial expression were showing how shocked he was.

"Baby i will get you out of there" Steve shouts as the police car starts driving off.

My breathing started to get heavier when i realized that there was a police van in front of us and behind us. This is really happening.
"So Y/L/N, Are you a superhero?" the officer driving the car asks me but i don't reply.
"You must be one of those Avengers?"

"I am." i say and keep looking out of the window. "Where are we going?"

"We are driving back to New York City where you will stay. Your court date is next week and after that we will see what is going to happen."
The nice officer sitting next to me in the back seat says.

"Thank you" I mutter and she winks at me.
My hands were still in handcuffs behind my back, it wasn't the most comfortable way to sit.
It felt like something was cutting through my wrists so i used my powers to loosen up the handcuffs.
At one point i fell asleep, i don't know how but i did.

„Y/L/N!" a police officer shouts at me. „Time to get up" The officer unbuckles my seat belt and i slowly get out. Its cold and i was still wearing shorts and a hoodie, i couldn't prepare for this. Who would have known this would happen?
The nice officer sitting next to me opened my handcuffs and closed them again but this time in front of me.
„This is more comfortable" she said and smiled.

We walked into the huge police station, „Sit down. It will take a while until you get a cell."
She sat me down in a hallway behind the main entrance, i could see people walk in and out but no one could see me.
„A cell?" i shout, „Can i call someone?"

„Yes a cell, You will stay here until the court hearing.
We can't risk you leaving the state again."
said the lady behind the counter.
„You are an Avenger?" she asked and rolled her eyes at me, i nodded.
"Do you have any proof of working as an S.H.I.E.L.D. agent? If yes I officially have to ask you if you want a S.H.I.E.L.D. lawyer or if you want to get your own?"
