In the sweet morning. Where birds are chirping and the leaves dancing along with the air. The fresh breeze is as saccharine as candy[1]. The weeds on the ground swaying from side to side and the people in Mondstadt are cheery as ever. This day is more peaceful than the others. hilichurls are not as aggressive and children playing at the square. Parents on the side, watching over them as they idly chatted. Laughter and cheers are the only things that Kaeya can hear. Yet his vision can only see the painter from Natlan that was currently waiting in front of the Knights' Headquarters.

The male's foot tapping on the ground, indicating that he was getting impatient from waiting. Kaeya isn't sure but his eyes can only see (YN). Even if he could only see the latter's back. Kaeya wondered why his eyes focused on the man. But he can't find the answer why. Then again, Kaeya doesn't mind. The feeling didn't make him frustrated nor stressed. Rather, Kaeya wants it to stay. Grinning, Kaeya now decided to approach the male.

"Mister painter! I haven't thought that you would be so early! The Acting Grand Master gave me more paperwork than I thought so I had to complete it..." Kaeya said. Pity evident on his face but (YN) wasn't having it. His Vision flaring red, Kaeya can see it.

"We have agreed on a time that we would meet, Captain Kaeya. But to think that you would take your time to arrive, I would have another knight to escort me if you keep this up." Kaeya put his hand over his heart. A frown replacing the smile that was on Kaeya's face.

"Forgive this one, mister painter. I thought that doing my knightly duties would make you impressed." Kaeya sighed, shaking his head. "But to think that doing my duty would only make you mad." (YN) wanted to scoff but he resisted. Taking a deep breath, feeling that his powers are making his body hotter than normal.

(YN) exhaled before grabbing the bags that rested on the ground to Kaeya. "These are my tools and if I found that a single bristle on my brush was plucked, I'm telling the Acting Grand Master of your poor work ethics." Kaeya was still as a statue. Too shocked to react and he's not sure where to react or not at all. He and (YN) may only have met a handful of times but this was not the calm painter that Kaeya knows. In fact, the personality that (YN) had in their first meeting was nowhere to be found. The taller male pondered if this is (YN)'s true personality or he's just irritated at him.

(YN) didn't wait for Kaeya and decided to head off. Leading the way to where he wants to be and let Kaeya follow him. The latter carried (YN)'s bags with care. Not because he's scared, but Kaeya doesn't want (YN) to faint with how stressed he was because of him.

Arriving at Starnatch Cliff, Kaeya could only be in awe. Surely, he has been here a thousand times before. Usually for the purpose of patrolling and to see if there are any abyss mages or Fatui. So he has seen this scene a thousand times. Past and present. Yet, the clear blue sky adorned by fluffy-looking white clouds. The color of the sea reflecting the calming blue of the sky above and birds flying up in the air. The only flower that grows on these grounds, cecilias, was found in batches. And those batches are also scattered. A few small dandelion plants that Lord Barbatos has given them. Quite an intoxicating sight to see. Kaeya wonders how this cliff became so monochromatic to him.

"I wanted it to paint it at night," (YN) said, grabbing a few bags from Kaeya's hold. His voice was soft as the dandelions and similar to that of a whisper. Fishing out his sketchbook and a tiny canvas, few small paint buckets, and brushes. After that, he sat down near the edge of the cliff. Kaeya's eyes could only follow the male. No matter what, Kaeya couldn't take his eyes off of him. Even exerting much effort, his eyes made little to no signs of doing what he wants them to do. His ears would echo the words that left from (YN)'s mouth as if the male had shouted those same words in a cave.

(YN)'s back faced him, yet, it was a sight really. Small and frail are the only words that Kaeya can describe the male. Then again, (YN) is sickly. Even using his Vision would make the male so tired that he wouldn't be able to move. Perhaps that's why he uses the bow? It's not as tiring as a sword and not as heavy as a claymore. What about magic then? Being a catalyst would've been a much better choice as they only need a book. With the sun rays facing (YN), there was only a silhouette of the male's back. Kaeya can see how each strand of (YN)'s hair would sway along with the breeze and the slight movements that the male made were alluring. Hypnotizing almost. If only Kaeya would know how to draw, he could remember how this sight forever.

[1] - It's an Asian expression. Almost similar to 'The air is so delicious' (when translated). But this is more exaggerated than it.
