Kim Sunoo's POV

A middle aged man was the first person I saw when the door opened

I looked at him in shock. After a few seconds, he finally spoke

"Uhm, excuse me? How can I help you?" The man asked

I looked back at Hoon, who's hands are still on my shoulders, with concerned eyes

"Uhm, do you by any chance, live with someone in this house?" Sunghoon thankfully spoke up, my lips still frozen

The man looked behind him, until a woman approached the door

"Love, who are you talking t—" The short haired woman stilled as her eyes landed on me

"M-Mom?" I whispered, my tears forming once again

"Sunoo?" She spoke, nothing but shock in her tone can be heard

"Oh, you know these people?" The man, who is still not familiar to my eyes asked, also in shock

"Come on in" he gave both of us a warm smile before letting us in

Once we have settled on the couch of their living room, I opened the conversation

"Uhm, may I talk to her alone?" Right now, I just don't know how to address her

Sunghoon and the man agreed and gave both of us space to talk alone

"Is that really you, mom?" I whispered, still not believing my eyes.

The woman who I love so much, is the same woman who left me years ago.

I saw her eyes, glistening with tears as well.

"Y-You don't know...I have so many questions in my heart right now."  I sniffed and wiped my tears

"Son, I—" I cut her off

"No...I-I don't think I can accept you calling me that yet..." I lowered my head as she looked at me, her eyes looking sorry

"I just need your explanation right now. Where's father? Where's my sister?" I asked her, looking right into her eyes.

Looking at her, suddenly the scene when she just left me at home replayed in my mind. All I feel right now is anger.

She gave me that sincere look she gave me everytime I would cry, and I hate how much I want to hug her, cry to her and tell her how much I missed her.

"Your sister...she's gone" my mother whispered, finally bursting out tears

"What?" I shouted but only came out as a whisper

No, this can't be.

"Several days after her accident. Me and your father did go abroad to seek for professional help. But she still didn't make it. Her injury in the brain was severe, a-and...I just didn't have the courage to face you back home. I didn't want you to hurt" She cried

"Fuck yeah, it didn't hurt!" I sarcastically raised my voice at her, my tears still streaming down my face

"You think leaving me clueless about all these will hurt less? Hell, just worrying about where you are, receiving zero updates about you hurt so damn much more than knowing my sister is fucking gone!" I screamed at her, getting the attention of the man, who went back inside to check up on us

"Young man, I think you are crossing the line" The man who came, calmly warned me, shielding my mom

"Or, are you? Huh? Who even are you? Where's my father, mom?" I looked at them both, my eyes angry at the both of them
