**Ava**
"Good morning!" I said stretching my arms as I walked out of my bedroom and into the kitchen.

"Hey, I thought I would make you pancakes as a thank you for letting me stay the night."

"Well thank you for the thank you pancakes, I know you know I love them."

I pulled my phone out of my hoodie pocket and saw that Luke had texted me. As I read it I tried not to think about it too much since I'm with Michael right now and I can answer it later.

"So how did you sleep?" I asked Michael as he flipped another pancake.

"Great, the dream I had was a little...new," he said with a slight blush.

"Ooooo tell me about it!" I said starting to get a little excited.

"Well you were there, and we were at the beach, um, and you...turned into a frog and...jumped around on rocks made of ice cream."

"Well that is an interesting dream," I said giggling and digging into the delicious pancakes Michael had made.

"Yeah, really different from the normal wet dreams I have," he said as I shoved him off the barstool.

"Oh my god, Clifford you are so gross."

As I looked at him I saw he had a slight blush on his very pale cheeks. I knew if we were dating that he would have pulled me into a quick kiss and a hug, but instead, he shoved a pancake in my face. As I was picking pancake chunks out of my hair, I caught Michael staring at me.

"I should probably get going now, thanks again for letting me stay the night," Michael said as he grabbed his jacket and phone.

"I had a great time last night, I'll see you at work tomorrow."

After Michael left I went over to the couch and pulled out my phone to text Luke back.

To cuddles?:
Hey sorry I didn't get back to you right away I slept in a little later than usual, but yeah I would love to go get coffee with you.

From cuddles?:
Great I know this amazing place you're gonna LOVE so should I pick you up around 1?

To cuddles?:
That sounds great can't wait!!

**Luke**

"Okay did I just ask Ava out on a date? I think so! Should I be talking to myself right now? I'm such a loser. The first thing I need to do is pick what band shirt I should wear. Ava likes all the ones I have so really any of them I guess, just don't wear your own band's shirt that makes you even more of a loser. Okay just go with a green day shirt and stop talking to yourself."

As I put on my shirt I started to think of one of the 2 coffee shops I thought to take Ava to. Both of them she would love but I don't which one she would love more. Definitely the first one. Plus I can always just take her to the other one later.

"Okay Luke you have 3 hours until you have to pick up Ava, so what are you gonna do? God, I do sound like a loser," I sigh as I plopped down on my bed. I pull out my phone and google "things to do on a first date". After finding some things that Ava and I could do after coffee, I pulled out a record and put it on the player. As I bobbed my head to the music, my door opens.

"What are you doing?" my older brother, Ben, walked in and was now standing in my doorway.

"I'm just listening to music to pass the time, do you need something?" I ask walking over to turn the music down a little.

"Yeah, uh, can I borrow 20 bucks?"

"What!? No! You have a job why can't you use your own money, you know I might need my $20 tonight," I say getting a little too defensive.

"Geeze, calm down, it's not like you ever have any big plans other than go out with your stupid band. When are you going to get a life!" He said storming out of my room.

"My band is bigger than you think, girls love me and I am constantly getting stopped to take pictures with fans. So suck it!!" I yell slamming the door. I start to feel bad about what I said to him. I'll apologize to him later. I lay down on my bed again and check the time, 11:30. Time couldn't move any slower.

I know I haven't updated in a long time, but I just haven't been in the mood to write and when I have I would work on my other book(not published yet). Side note I really don't think Luke's brother in real life would have a fight like that with him but I just wanted to add one of his brothers into the story, even though I might not bring him up again. Anyways, I might start writing this book at school since I sit alone at lunch and never have anything to do.
