The Dreadful Truth

Chapter 7

**Ava**

After an hour of sketching out an idea that I thought was good i wanted to get a second opinion on it. I didnt want to take it to richard just yet until it was done so I texted Luke to come in when he was free.

After about half and hour of fixing a few things in my design, Luke finally came into my office.

"Hey Ava what do you need me for?"

"I just wanted to know what you thought about this poster design," said shoving my sketch book in his face.

"Wow this is...amazing no wonder Richard gave you the job!" He said in amazment.

"You really think so? I could make a few changes if you wanted me too."

"No Ava dont change anything about it, have you showed it to richard yet?"

"No, he scares me sometimes."

"Well you just haven't gotten to know him very well yet, do you want me to go with you to show him?" He said looking at me with a smile on his face.

"Would you please?"I asked knowing what he would say.

"Let's go, I know he'll love it."

After showing Richard my design the guys were sent to the photographers where they each had their pictures taken how ever they wanted to take them. It was an in and out kind of thing. After that they sent me the pictures and I edit them and added my own special touch to it. I printed out 2 copy gave one to richard and put the other up in my office.

"So where did you grow up?" Luke asked taking a sip of his drink.

"I grew up in New York, it wasn't always fun growing up in the big city. It didnt always make me feel safe knowing that people would get mugged so often."

"Yeah, after watching friends that doesnt help either since phoebe would mug people," he said starting to get nervous about the topic.

"But it's okay I survived and now I live here, I mean getting use to the time difference definitely wasn't fun. Most nights I would stay up until 4am cause by then it would be about midnight in new york."

"Yeah. when ever we go on tour it's always a pain to get use to the time change and then you have it change again the next day."

"Sounds delightful," I said finishing off my milkshake.

Luke had taken me out for dinner after a good hardday at work making posters and printing them. I had to send the design to the website manager so they could put it out in 2 weeks when it first goes on sale.

Luke and michael were the band members that I was the closest to. Even though I had just gotten the job and it was my second day at work, I really like them the most.

I felt bad since I was close with ahston  but Michael and Luke were the ones I talked with the most. Calum and I were friends but not super close. After getting lost in my thoughts, luke snapped me out if it by asking if I still needed help unpacking.

I gladly accepted his help and after I finished drinking my milkshake I drove him over to my place. We started to unpack more stuff for my living room. I out on some Kiss and has jamming out to Detroit rock city when I noticed Luke looking at me.

"I'm sorry is my amazing singing distracting your from my helping me hang up my plant?"

"Uh...no I uh...just...got lost on thought I guess."

"Ahh okay then Mr.Hemmings."

**Luke**

As Ava invited me to go back to her place to help her unpack her living room I couldnt stop thinking about her. She had the prettiest green eyes with dark brown hair. Her shirt had Rose's on it which really made her look great. I still couldnt believe I got to work with her.

When we got to her apartment she put on some music and began to sing along with it. She wanst bad but she did catch me staring at her. I started to panic a little. Crap make up a exsucss hemmings.

"I guess I just got lost in thought," smooth move hemmings I bet she truly believed that.

"So are you gonna sing along or not I know you like them, i saw you wear one of their shirts recently."

"Yeah I guess so..." I trailed off starting to him along.

After the song ended my next favorite kiss song came on. Beth, I never told the guys it was my favorite or else they would laugh at me. I look at ava as she started to sing along. I put the plant down and started to dance.

"Nice moves hemmings."

"Thanks, this is one of my favorite songs, I never told anyone that before since I thought they would make fun of me."

"Well you can trust me, it's one of my favorites too."

As I looked at her I couldn't help but think of what it would be like to kiss her. I really like ava even if I only knew her for 2 days I felt like I knew her my whole life. I would do anything to make her mine, but the problem was I didnt know how to tell her that.

I had all the thoughts of what to say in my head but I dont think I'll ever have the courage to actually tell her. The first time she texted me I was so confused but after we started talking I knew we would get along great.

She liked all the same stuff I did. The only problem with that though is that Michael and I arent so different. He always talked to girls with out a problem and now I have a feeling he likes her and I dont want to lose her to my best friend.

Hey guys, I cant stop writing this story I truly can't is now 4am and I'm watching friends. I have a problem with staying up late ok. I almost never write so this truly is weird for me. Fun fact Beth is my favorite kiss song so I thought I would included it. So yeah, I got nothing else to say other than, this was definitely one on my longer chapters I cant wait to switch to Michael's perspective I picture his mind to be a little crazy so have fun.
