Tae breathed in the air of the trees around her. She decided to go on a stroll to avoid going home after school that day. It had been 3 weeks since she'd become friends with Raven again and it was going great. They both had so much fun hanging at lunch and a lot of the time leave the others to be alone. Every so often when Raven fell asleep on the bus Tae would take her hand and stroke it. Raven stayed perfectly still so Tae had no idea if she knew she would do this every time. But Tae just like the feel of her hand.
The two hadn't hung much outside of school mainly because Tae didn't want to risk another bad beating and Raven got grounded as-well for skipping class a few times. So life outside of school was lonely for both of the two.
Tae found a spot under a tree and laid down on her side underneath it. She pulled out the book from her bag and opened it up to do quite a lot of reading. She was finally getting into the rhythm when a shadow started blocking the sun.
"Hey Tae!" Raven was standing right in front of her.
"Oh hey thought you were grounded?" She looked up at her.
"I was but that finished yesterday thank god. Mind if i sit."
"Course." Tae sprung up making space for her friend.
"So what brings you here?" Raven asked.
"Oh fancied a change of scenery. You?"
"Well got bored of the walls of my house."
"How could you, your house is so cool." Tae chuckled.
"Ha thanks. Oh hey i keep forgetting do you have insta?"
"Oh no never really got round to that sort of things."
"I can help you set one up? You don't have to though no pressure."
"Hm why not." Tae pulled out her phone and opened it up, then downloaded the app.
"Ok just enter these things and that's all." Tae put in her details and was done.
"Now what?"
"Well you can follow me for starters, here." Raven took the phone and put in her user and press request.
"See not hard just follow who you want.""Oh that wasn't hard thanks. Hey you want to go get something to eat?"
"Sure let's go." Raven hopped up and held her hand down to Tae helping her up. She then put her arm through hers and headed off.
"Where do you want to go?" Raven asked her.
"Eh no where fancy i've only got like 5 bucks on me."
"Nonsense i'll pay, first let's go get some new outfits."
"What Raven seriously?"
"Yeh anything for my favourite person." She then gave Tae a little nudge pulling her quicker causing Tae to blush.
They had walked along back to Raven's house and she unlocked her door.
"Gotta grab something first then we can go."
"Do your thing." Raven ran in and about a minute later came sprinting out with keys in her hand.
"Raven why have you got car keys."
"We're driving."
"Can you even drive?"
"Yeh I passed my test like a month ago."
"And how did I not know this?"
"Well you never asked." Raven gave her a smile and got into the driver seat.
"Come on!"
