"Hey babe." Peeta, my boyfriend, says as I slip into the car.
"Hey" I say back before leaning over and kissing him breathless. Just as I am about to pull away the door of my house opens.
"KATNISS THAT IS NOT SCHOOL!" Mum screeches across the garden.
"WERE GOING SOON!" I yell back,
"NO KATNISS GO NOW! STOP MAKING OUT BEFORE YOU CATCH SOMETHING AND DIE!" What an idiot.
I look at her in the eyes, take Peeta's hand and put it on my boob. I smirk at my mum.
"SCHOOL!" She yells again before slamming the door.
"Well that took care of her" I say with a laugh before flinging Peeta's hand back onto the steering wheel. "How about that school thing?"
"Yeah, lets go to that school thing" Peeta replies before driving away from my house and towards Panem High.
--at school--
I walk over to my locker and open it before shoving everything inside. I don't need anything for first period because I have free, so Peeta and I are ditching.
Whilst I am doing this some arms wrap around my waist. I smile thinking that it is Peeta.
" Hey Pee-" I say turning around only to see that it was Gale.
"Hey locker buddy" Gale says,
"Get of me Gale." I spit at him.
"Babe, I told you not to call me that" he replies. Gale thinks that his name is too 'nice' so he gets everyone to call him but his middle name , PJ.
"Alright then, pyjamas get of me before I kick you where the sun doesn't shine" i retort loosing my temper.
"You seemed pretty excited to see me before." Gale, no sorry, PJ says.
"Thats cos I thought you were-"
"Lover boy, yeah I know, you thought I was lover boy." Lover boy is Gale's nickname for Peeta.
"Yeah, I thought you were Peeta. Now get the hell of me!" I say, trying to be calm. Gale releases his grip and backs away.
" i will get you someday!" He shouts
"I highly doubt it!" I shout back.
I turn back to my locker, close it and then turn around to see Peeta.
"What was that all about?" He questions.
"You don't wanna know" i reply before taking his hand and making my way towards his car ready to ditch.
